Called in after first day reopening. Had brisket burger which was delicious. Service was a little haphazard but this is understandable after kitchen reopening

Basic pub food. Don't expect gourmet or white glove service, but for what it is it's fairly decent. You won't leave hungry. Average service, nice atmosphere, just basic average pub food. If that's what interests you then you'll probably enjoy it, if you are looking for something more upscale, go elsewhere.

They didn't have Slow cooked beef, which was why I did decided to go there. Not knowing how busy the place would be I reserved a table earlier in the day and they put us at there worst table in the bar. For these reasons it doesn't get 5 stars. It's still gets 4 though since the food was good and reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant and prompt.

Not sure how to rate this place. The service was great, the food was well cooked, the atmosphere was good. I got the fish, 2 pieces, some of the chips were bigger than the fish size…. Totally ruined it…. And for 19.95 for the ‘fish’ and chips. They should rename it, “fish slivers and chips”.

Who cares if the furniture is a little too worn (indeed, it has its charm): the food is VERY good and the prices are in line with those of the other restaurants in the area.

Had a breakfast here. Staff were lovely, but that was all. Cold toast, cold eggs. Dry, hard, tasteless bacon. The rest ok, but my advice, would be to give it a miss. Breakfast anyway. There are plenty of better alternatives close by.
