Really excellent food. Valentines dinner day after 14th. Lovely atmosphere. Starters, mains, wine beer so good. Huge choice.

The restaurant is recommendable in every respect. There was no need to reserve a table. The food was so good it exceeded our expectations. Nice atmosphere, neat and atmospheric place with calm music playing. Professional table service provided us with complete comfort during the birthday dinner

Much improved since the recent renovations were finished for the takeaway area. Food is consistently good and has been for as long as Wau have been in Trim. Well worth the visit for a treat every now and again

Family gathering of seven celebrating exam results. Staff very attentive, food was excellent and facilities clean. This is my go to restaurant for takeaway or sit down. Prices very reasonable too.

Delicious food, beautifully served. We ordered the House Combination ( think that’s it?! ) in the starter section - it is for 2 people. Gosh - what an absolutely spectacular plate of food we received. Crispy chicken salad, Asian spare ribs, crispy wontons and delicious satay chicken with its rich peanut sauce. We were both full after that! Highly recommended. Lovely friendly and efficient staff. Thank you!

02/02/2025: Stopped in for hot chocolates to warm up after our tour at Trim castle. Weird and unwelcoming vibe from the lady at the till. It felt like we were an inconvenience to her even though the cafe was not busy. The man making the hit chocolates was very pleasant. Unfortunately the drinks were watery. The amount of marshmallows made up for it with the children. We would not go back due to the bad vibe. Cakes looked good. Maybe they only like locals and regulars. Strange in a tourist town.
