Ottimo pub a Fenit, hanno anche delle tranquille camere da letto; ci siamo fermati qui nel nostro viaggio in Irlanda, Guinness buona e sono molto forti su cucinare il pesce, era molto buono. La colazione anche del mattino, Irish breakfast è stata molto apprezzata. I dolci invece non sono proprio il loro forte, peccato...
One of the favourite places for she who must be obeyed and I when we want to spoil ourselves. But tonight something was a little off.
The pate was delicious and a generous portion but the Chowder (usually my favourite ) although bursting with fish and prawns was poorly seasoned and tasted only of uncooked flour.
My main was generous to a fault. The cold platter beautiful and tasty . The advertised crab meat was not on it but in fairness it didn't need it.
The triio of fish however was yet again lacking in seasoning or flavour. Any Flavour ! Just a tasteless sauce. I must stress these are favourite dishes of ours here and are usually brilliant. Just not today.
It is also the first time I have ever sent back a side of chips because they were raw.
The desert was again generous and beautifully presented.
Usually faultless but today must be chef's Day Off.🥹
Had a fantastic meal in an amazing pub. The locals were very friendly, we even had drinks sent over. Certainly be back when we visit Ireland next time.
