Brilliant have to say normally meals in ireland are very expensive but they have deals on through out the week making it that bit cheaper. So there are no main weekend deals however the do have a deal such as the one that I got which was 4 for €24 so I had chips, wings, chicken bites, and pizza and it was big portions. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I have to say so warm and polite the manager wanna be proud of the team they have.
The pub itself was spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. It does have a carpark right outside but it is a bit small but I wouldn't fear there is plenty of parking around the area the pub is located itself. In order to get to the toilets there is a lot of starts to go down bit I didn't mind this as I have no accessibility issues but others may find this a challenge which is worth noting.
I attended the weekend and dublin was playing kilkenny so the pub had multiple screens on the go that were huge so no matter where you were sat you could see the match.
Would recommend for a nice cheap meal out with the kids.

Plenty of mixed choice seating, take your own table and order via QR code on table. Food out fast, okay but not great. Had go to bar to find out where drinks were at as two thirds finished meal, got served (bonus the original showed showed up as meal finished) 🍻

Had a great experience staying here for one night to attend a gig close by. The staff were fantastic, service and food was great. The rooms exceeded our expectations. Will definitely stay here again!

The Old Borough Hotel and Pub was an interesting stay and, overall, a good one, but there were enough little issues to keep it from earning that fifth star.
The first surprise came at check-in, which happens right at the pub bar. It’s a little unconventional, but it actually works once you realize that’s just how things are done. The pub itself was big and busy with a lively crowd, creating exactly the kind of atmosphere you’d hope to find in a traditional Irish town.
The room was modern, clean, and nicely updated, which made one issue stand out even more. There was a noticeable damp, musty smell that never really went away during my stay. Combined with windows that only opened about ten inches, it was difficult to air the room out, and fresh air would have made a big difference.
Another disappointment was the television, which never worked, and while it wasn’t a dealbreaker, it’s something you’d reasonably expect to be in working order. Parking was also fairly limited, so depending on when you arrive, you may have to do a little hunting for a space.
None of these were major enough to ruin the stay, and the location is excellent if you’re looking to explore the town on foot. The lively pub downstairs, the updated accommodations, and the convenience of being in the heart of everything make it a solid choice. Fix the damp smell, get the TV working, improve ventilation, and it would be an easy close to DUB AIRPORT five-star stay.
