Went here on Saturday we were upstairs. The gig was amazing, The sound was excellent. But the size of the area was small. Wont stop me from going again

I went to Whelan's for a Silent Disco night and absolutely loved it! You can choose between two styles of music and everyone is dancing or chatting at their convenience in total freedom! I will definitely go back at my next visit to Dublin.

Had to visit simply as it was my name sake. Disappointed that it was quiet when I was there. Was hoping for a live venue that in the public area there might be some decent background music but it was dead. Maybe an off night

Went to see modernlove here. Lovely place to for a concert. Very vibes and great venue for small gigs. The drinks are a little overpriced it was 12 euros, for I say 150ml of malbu and coke. The entrance for gigs is to the side of whelans

Great venue. Brilliant location. Went to a brilliant gig there recently, and loved it. Was on the NA beer that night so cannot comment on the pints but the place was hoppin'. 5 stars.

16/08/2024: It’s a cozy, and bright place. We loved the brunch menu, service and overall vibe. There’s a long table with window looking out into the street. I recommend the mushrooms on toast which was super delicious. Overall, great brunch place in Dublin city center

09/07/2024: We stopped here for a bite of lunch - had a salad and a toastie and they hit the spot! This is a lovely little cafe to come to before or after a trip to the National Gallery!
30/05/2024: Very well attended, super friendly. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and sat down to drink it with our own sandwiches, something highly valued for low-cost travelers like us.
