Wholesome Kitchen Restaurant in Mullingar

I ordered three dishes from The Wholesome Kitchen takeaway: two “special”dishes and one sweet-and-sour chicken. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although I was told the order would take about five minutes, it took closer to 15 minutes. However, this was understandable, as the restaurant appeared to be busy. The two special dishes were enjoyable and ones I would happily order again. Unfortunately, the sweet-and-sour chicken was severely overcooked, leaving the meat very tough and inedible. This was the main issue with the meal and significantly affected the overall experience. I would be happy to order the special dishes again, but I hope the kitchen can improve the preparation of the sweet-and-sour chicken.

Nice tasty food and friendly service

Wholesome is the perfect place for lunch. They have so many choices and as a vegan it is amazing to have so much to choose from. Their rosemary potatoes and their cookies are to die for. The quantity is generous and we always polish the plate off. It is such a modern and casual place to have lunch. Their service is flawless.

Excellent food and staff were lovely. Even though it was very busy the food arrived quite quickly. Busy but we could hear ourselves. Not sure about beer 🍺 and cocktails 🍸, but there have a wine 🍷menu.

Wholesome kitchen is my favourite place to eat in Mullingar! The food is always fresh, delicious and fulfilling. Five stars from me 🤩

Food was lovely I had sticky chili chicken as starter and noodles as a side was really tasty big portions very reasonable... Hubby had beefburger and garlic baby potatoes... We had a gift card of 50€ and added 2 glasses of wine and 2 orchard thieves to get it over the €50 mark was €52 in total which seems very reasonable... neither of us managed to finish all the food. Very tasty, good prices very nice staff... Lil bit noisy due to a loud group beside us but overall very good experience we will be back again.

Food was good, quantity was great. Service was quick but didn't come by after serving us. Awesome atmosphere. 😁
