Wholesome Kitchen Restaurant in Mullingar

Our food was DELICIOUS!!! We had Thai crispy chicken salad, Crispy chicken curry noodles, and Sweet potato wedges. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes, especially considering the very affordable prices (by the way, the prices shown on Google Maps are outdated, but the current ones are still super fair). I looked through their website and it was nice to find out about their ethical practices as well! This was one of our favorite meals in Ireland and I’m heartbroken that this is the only Wholesome Kitchen Restaurant there is in the world 😭 We’ll have to plan another trip just to come back here

Long time regular, I always get the special and have NEVER been disappointed! Lovely friendly staff, kitchen really know what they are doing so the food is quick amd delicious. By far my favourite lunch spot in Mullingar. Get the specials!

This our go to place to eat on visiting Mullingar. Food is always excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great place if you are in a hurry, order at the counter and food brought to your table. Equally great if you have some time to spare, no rush on your table and the tea is lovely.

Had lovely food in Wholesome Kitchen. But was charged €7 for two cans of Diet Coke. That’s a bit rich.

I went here for lunch on Saturday and was genuinely so impressed! The food was absolutely gorgeous, full of flavour and really good quality. The portions are very generous too, so you definitely leave feeling satisfied! The service was great and everything was spot on. I’d definitely recommend this place and I’ll absolutely be back again with my family!

I ordered three dishes from The Wholesome Kitchen takeaway: two “special”dishes and one sweet-and-sour chicken. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although I was told the order would take about five minutes, it took closer to 15 minutes. However, this was understandable, as the restaurant appeared to be busy. The two special dishes were enjoyable and ones I would happily order again. Unfortunately, the sweet-and-sour chicken was severely overcooked, leaving the meat very tough and inedible. This was the main issue with the meal and significantly affected the overall experience. I would be happy to order the special dishes again, but I hope the kitchen can improve the preparation of the sweet-and-sour chicken.
