Just had an amazing 70th birthday party at Woodruff today!! Colm and David couldn't have been nicer, more obliging, more patient with all quirky requests of a lovely gathering of family and friends.... They made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. They had no problem with the decorations we put up, and were super accommodating for our two 6 year olds and one two year old who had just discovered how much fun it was to be chasing a balloon around the room ! The food was amazing - delicious, attractively plated, tasty and all tastes and allergies dealt with, absolutely no bother! Coffee, teas, wine and other drinks - all freely available. The white wine was especially tasty! Then the birthday cakes - chocolate with Marscapone or coffee icing, and one of the best gluten free chocolate cakes I've ever had, it was totally delicious!! All in all, huge thanks to Woodruff for a lovely, very memorable birthday party - a day I shall treasure for many years to come!!

Love this neighborhood restaurant. They focus on farm-to-table practices and organic food, while supporting local producers. The food is fantastic with beautiful presentation. They even make their own salami and butter. It is great value for top quality food!!

Have just eaten an outstanding meal at Woodruff, incredibly fresh, imaginative and beautifully presented. The food has consistently been delicious, and of an exceptionally high quality each time we’ve visited. Feel very lucky to have this restaurant in our neighbourhood, cannot remember the last time we’ve eaten somewhere that surpassed it.

Amazing food . We had a selection of snacks - bread , hake croquettes , oysters and the lamb tongue amazing . We followed with the sole and the charred carrots. We had to ask for a goody bag as we were too full

The Woodruff is a small, nondescript restaurant that serves fantastic food. I probably would have walked by it had I not known about it. I went for the Sunday roast and had it as a three course meal. The service was top notch, the food excellent. The Woodruff is well worth the trip.
