WYLDE in Galway

I was quite disappointed with this place recently where I went several times because the coffee and chai latte are usually good! First there was an order error (which I could not resolve because I had taken it away). Then when I had ordered a cappuccino they brought me a latte just sprinkled with cocoa, however the last times the cappuccino was a real cappuccino (with the expected foam of a cappuccino), in addition to that the milk had a taste of curdled milk, I couldn't drink it!!! To top off the experience, the welcome is not at all pleasant. The waitresses barely smiled!

I enjoyed a spectacular almond pastry, a nice chai latte, and a few minutes of relative quiet for breakfast this morning.

Came to this place on a whim yesterday, and the açaí and coffee were great. I would recommend either or both to anyone. The staff is not extremely friendly and the cashier, frankly, seemed like she hated to be there. Also, it seems like the employees hate to clear off tables. I understand it was busy but employees would go to drop off food and look at dirty tables and then keep walking. There was a point where 4 or 5 tables were empty but were still filled with plates and food. People were waiting for seats and the tables still weren’t being cleaned.

Great place and delicious carrot cake. I got the gingerbread latte, and it was very nice. However, it is not the best look to serve the dine in guests with coffee in a paper cup. Everything else about the place was lovely.

I love,love,love Wylde. So sad they close at 5pm, would definitely also come for dinner. I always get a big salad bowl I create myself. I live as a vegetarian, have a dairy and mushroom allergy, and I find food here without a problem. It is so hard to find healthy vegetarian food in Ireland, so this is a must for every vegetarian or vegan person!

Place is pretty good but a cheese and ham sandwich doesn't require 7 metric tonnes of sauce drowning all the other ingredients, turning it into a wet, gooey mess.

Excellent acai bowls, super good coffee. In a comfortable and beautiful modern environment. Good attention!
