Xian Street Food in Dublin

I wanted to try the famous Spice Bag, but it just wasn’t for me. Also, the waiting time was sooo long. Not the best experience this time.

Packed since the place has very limited dine in seating. No matter, I still went ahead and ordered takeout, portion for 4 people. I can taste one of the spices they used as 老干媽 that we can get readily in Toronto, yet it was mixed well in the spicy bag. Food aside, I have one full order completely missed!! who delivered the takeout completely missed hence the ☆!!! I wouldn't expect myself having to go through all bags in the middle of the street to see if they put everything in. Please be careful if you order takeaway! Update: went back a day later and inquired at the ordering booth, they at once recognized my missed order and gave me a replacement without questions. Thanks for the great response. Also glad i got my bian bian noodles as it tasted great. I guess this was a honest mistake, but at the same time some of us may not have the luxury to go back the next day to check! Regardless i appreciate the make-up gesture.

Wow 10/10, spice bag is amazing. The picture doesn’t quite capture the beauty of it. It is packing with flavour and very tasty. Not that spicy. They do a deal with a drink. Good prices. Highly recommend trying other parts of their menu too!! I tried the ?jianeng? Was like a wrap that had Szechuan beef in it. So tasty yum yum. Very filling. Boa bun. Very nice. Was a queue for takeaway but not for sitting in. Seating is upstairs . Portions are SO BIG !!!!!! We had to box some up because we couldn’t finish it. Must go if you are visiting

Came for the spice bag and it lived up to the hype. I was initially blown away by the portion size of the bag and curry sauce, I was expecting an average sized portion and a small pottle of curry sauce not a whole bowl full! The spice bag is super tasty and glad I can leave Dublin knowing I had one. My partner got the vegan noodles and said she’s had better, lacked flavour but all that said I would recommend.

Its our second time ordering here . It was really nice especially the biang biang noodles. The spice bag looks good too probably will order it next time . The packaging was really nice coz no spills coz we ordered as takeaway. The only thing theres only little space for people who wants to eat dine in

I was never the one to order something spicy since it just burns you from inside and on top of that I never really understood the Spice bag concept, I’m sure this was invented for local tastebuds. But when I tried Xian’s spice bag OMG it tasted like heaven! It was just the perfect seasoning and great value as well for the price you pay! That’s probably why there’s always a queue (Deliveroo included). Although I tried some of their other item I highly recommend the spice bag. But prepare a drink cause you’re gonna be thirsty 😅

Service was surprisingly fast given it's business and fame. Food was out in 2 minutes. I of course had to get the spicy bag, which I had sky high expectations for...and it still exceeded those expectations. It was delicious and the portion was massive.

Great spice bag. 2 people can easily share 1 spice bag.

The spice bag is well worth getting, the chicken was soooo good inside, and we had a side of the steamed pork dumplins again they were very good. It does get super busy so be prepared to wait but the food is good

Went in and ordered for a take away on a Sunday night. It was very busy and crammed full of people ordering. When I ordered I asked how long the wait would be and was advised 15mins. I also asked for no tofu in my noodles. Time went on and everyone else seemed to be getting their orders plus it was clear that the deliveroo, Uber drivers etc took priority. 20mins in and I asked where my order was and was told it wouldn’t be too much longer. 30 mins in, asked again. Told the same. 35mins asked again and made them follow up, was told my order was now made a priority. 40mins in I finally got my order! 40 minutes! It was even a big order - noodles and spring rolls! Got my order back to the hotel and the noodles had tofu in and the spring rolls were undercooked. Really disappointing and probably being kind on the 3 star. Only did as it was clear the staff were working really really hard.
