We stayed here on December 1st last.
At booking we were quoted €120 for the room. On arrival we had to pay up front €150.
On arrival in the room, there was no heating. It was 2° outside on the night. The lady in charge said she would put a heater in the room, which I think she did. We were attending a function downstairs and did not see any heater.
There was no hot water in the morning for a shower. The manager was not available to talk to. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the bar staff and asked the manager to meet us.
We were told by bar staff that we were the only ones to complain and the hotel was full that night.
I wrote letter of complaint to the manager early Dec and to date I have not had any response.
Not good enough for 150€ on a very cold night in December.
I've brought passengers for lunch here many times in the past, and the food is excellent. The staff are always friendly and accommodating of different dietary requirements.
Had a family meal in the bar this evening. Menue had great variety and priced very reasonably.. Meal was lovely. Staff absolutely first class. Unfortunately our car broke down. Owner offered accommodation for the night at no cost. Could not have been nicer. Call to the County Inn if you are passing. Could not recommend it highly enough.
Just what you would expect from a country Inn. Food was very good. Service was fast and very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.
I stayed one night here with my mother and grandmother, and we ate here twice on this visit. My mother and grandmother have previously stayed at this inn and love it. We all had an excellent night sleep. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The rooms were warm and spacious. There was some noise in the late hours of the night, however this was a Saturday night. The menu gave many options. We had lunch and dinner - food was consistently delicious! Staff were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend staying and/or eating here.
