Great little discovery: Morilles Bistro: the restaurant upstairs. Exquisite cuisine. Was way beyond my expectations. A French restaurant where waiters and Maître D speak French.

Somos una pareja Senior en nuestros 80 que hemos cenado aquí antes. El almuerzo era delicioso buena selección a la vista. Preferimos porciones pequeñas que fueron proporcionadas por un personal amable. Las bebidas se pedían cuando estábamos sentados con nuestro almuerzo, y se proporcionaban rápidamente. un té , y el café se olvidaban, ya que pagamos en cada etapa de la comida. Así que nos fuimos muy satisfechos por nuestra visita.

Found this place by accident and will definitely be back regularly, lovely coffee, cakes, buns and many other goodies. Couldn't get over the toastie I also ordered, plenty of it and very fresh and tasty but the added bonus was the chips and dip that came with it, not the usual couple of crisps thrown in for good measure but a big portion and a lovely sour cream and chive dip.... can't wait for my next visit

13/05/2025: Went here with my wife, son and 2 grandchildren on Sunday. There was all kinds of football on the many TV'S all over the place and a very good atmosphere throughout the place. Once we found a suitable place to sit, so that we could watch Liverpool match. A very helpful lounge girl asked us if we were having food or drink or both. We decided to have a few drinks first and would get dinner later. About N hour later we ordered food. I had the Ruben sandwich with cream of Veg soup, my wife had a Ceasar salad, my son had the Beef carvery and the 2 kids had nuggets and chips. Everything was fabulous and the service was also excellent. My daughter in law arrived later and had the Beef and Guinness stew, which came with a soft roll and mashed potato's. Again it was fabulous. The Lord Edward is a fabulous building with many beautiful picture and unusual decor. But most of all is their staff are great and the food Fab Can't wait to go back.

Turk's Head

11/05/2025: Good centrally located pub on the outskirts on Temple Bar. Had live music while we were there until 11pm then music system playing the usual classics. Staff were very nice. Perfect spot for a few pints and a boogie until midnight. Toilets were very clean.
04/05/2025: The first whiskey I ever had in my life and it had a wonderful flavor!
