This place is always good for food. Staff are very friendly. Always drop in to feed when I'm in the area.

Casual dinner. Nice atmosphere. Dinner came very quickly.

Great iconic genuine local pub. Great pint and food. Lounge staff are great. Bar staff could be more friendly 🤔 - but maybe that's part of their quirky charm :-)

Bar staff were unfriendly but there was a lovely waitress. Still no readily available vegetarian option (same as the last time we visited). Had to have a bowl of soup while the rest of my group ate dinner. Desserts were served cold (HOT sticky toffee pudding and brownies). We had to ask for them to be heated. On the plus side, they offer a half dinner portion.

It’s been some time since I visited this restaurant and I was impressed. The food is delicious and although the location is on a very busy junction you don’t hear traffic noise when dining.

Very good food. Always busy, so getting a table is sometimes a challenge.

Well managed Public House. Good pub food , plenty of seating on normal days and a good level of service which creates a good atmosphere. Recommend.
