Very good food in a nice restaurant. Bit of a shame we were seated upstairs as atmosphere slightly flat. However service still very good and the food was excellent
All restaurants should strive to achieve this standard of food and service.
Letterkenny, a town in Co. Donegal, boasts a restaurant that is exceptional.
We ate here when visiting the area. Twice in three days.
The menu is extensive and specials are available too.
I had sea bass on day one with a mash which was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and the mash was smooth and creamy.
For dessert I had carraigin moss with a rhubarb compote. Again, delicious.
On the second visit I had a medium /rare steak with fries. The steak was well seasoned and very tasty.
Everything: the service, the quality of the food and its cooking, the friendliness of the staff all added up to a truly great experience. Twice.
