Great spot. Staff so friendly and efficient

Edit: I’ve been coming to Zakura on Upper Baggot St for 4years. I celebrate all my bdays here, and all my anniversaries. Every single time the food is amazing. But I really want to say thank you to all the staff, they are extremely attentive, nice, friendly. Like they make you feel special on every meal. Cannot recommend more (: Thank you!!! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Japanese restaurant in Dublin! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt lively, modern, and pop-inspired — not overly formal or elegant, but exactly the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean and well maintained, from the dining area to the bathrooms, which were spotless. You could really notice the attention to detail in every part of the restaurant, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The sushi was excellent, and all the hot dishes were packed with authentic taste and high-quality ingredients. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion go into the food. The service was also great: friendly, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed. Another huge positive was the price — absolutely fair for the quality of the food and the overall experience. Finding a place that combines amazing Japanese cuisine, great service, a fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices is not easy. We genuinely had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Dublin and looking for delicious Japanese food in a cool, relaxed setting.

Zakura Baggot st always deliveries delicious qnd quality food. Yesterday it was my first time eating in, and what a great surprise. The service was PERFECT! Warm, friendly, efficient, attentive. Something VERY rare today in Dublin, even among the highest rated restaurants. Well done to your team and please don't let it drop.

From all my years of bring served at this restaurant I still cannot put into words how amazing this establishment is. Everything from the delicious food, peaceful and wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. The friendly staff contribute heavily to the amazing atmosphere and service coupled with the extremely high quality of a traditional Japanese cuisine. Food has never been a disappointment. Extremely fresh and high quality sushi + variety. Ramen options are various and all delicious. If you fancy stir fries or meals they do not disappoint. Words dont do this establishment justice of you fancy fine dining and high quality Japanese cuisine this is the place without a doubt.

Super fresh sashimi. I’ve stopped in twice this week for a small bite. Will be back to try the more extravagant rolls soon.
