Haven't tried the food but the cocktails are fabulous. Service is generally good but speed of delivery of drinks can vary. Staff are very friendly and professional.

10/10/2024: Huge bar near the wonderful People's Park just on the outskirts of the city.Chess club every Tuesday night,,but it's a nice pub if you'd like a quiet pint or to watch the football..they do food,but I can't comment as I've never eaten here...seems to have standard fare(Soup and sandwiches chicken Kiev's,casserole/stew,fish and chips etc.)Plenty of room and a cosy snug with fire at the front.Has potential to be a great pub.Could do with a makeover as it's tatty,
28/09/2024: Friday night, after work pints, rugby on the TV. Great pub to sit in with a few friends. Quick and friendly service.

Seagull Bakery Patrick Street

05/10/2024: Nice and friendly bakery with delicious food. No place to hang out just to take a good variety of local products and really wonderful treats and savory baking goods. And this is Coming from a bread loving German. 😉
15/08/2024: Bought about six cakes to take away! The lady serving me was quite rude and as I was calling the cakes out she was putting them in the register and totting them up. Then packaged them after, she put in two of the wrong cakes which I found out after I drive home. She was very nonchalant and wanted to put three of the cakes in a bag not to waste two boxes but I had a long drive home and knew they would get squashed. Very strange staff approach!!
