Zaytoon in Dublin

My boyfriend and I came to Dublin really late, were wandering about the city aimlessly, looking for vegetarian food. We decided on Zaytoon because Persian food sounds more interesting than Italian and the place was PACKED. Having so many customers at 1 a.m. made me think that they were doing something right at least. We ordered 2 vegetable shishs for takeaway, not knowing what to expect. It was unbearable staying inside that place. Customers were laughing, screaming. The workers tried to scream louder, distributing the orders that were ready. So we fled back to the hotel. There we discovered that we had neither forks nor plates, so we had to eat our shishs with our bare hands. But we gladly did so. Covered in sauce, we indulged in that delicious freshly made and hot bread. The grilled vegetables were damn good and our expectations for our late night dinner were far exceeded. I almost am kinda sad we didn't stay in that packed place and took in the whole atmosphere. 10/10

Tasted great but portions of meat were very small and my family of four left hungry and had to order food at another restaurant.

Super packed most of the times, specially in the evening or at night. Food is delicious at this place. The other location is a hit and miss. But here... delicious!!

Stumbled across this place on the hunt for food and it was the best decision ever. Food hot and fresh and super quick. Servers very helpful answering questions and take edits to orders with no fuss. We got our food within 5 mins of ordering. Delicious, fresh, flavourful so happy we popped in. We got Doners and a fresh orange juice - delish. 100% coming back for more soon. Price is reasonable for the city centre. €15-20 for a very filling and fulfilling meal and drink!!!

Top rate kebab. A sit down meal job. Top tier kebab.

Loved this restaurant. Cholo kebab was close to authentic chello kabob. Shish kebab (chenjeh in Persian cuisine) was tender and tasted good; I just wish it had grilled tomatoes on the side to make it closer to what you would get in Iran (I also wished the name was called chenjeh in a Persian resturant). Makes it feel more like Persian cuisine! Rice was tasty and had a hint of the authentic Persian rice's aroma. We got a meal which comes with a drink (we got Doogh which is Persian yogurt drink with mint. Very smooth and creamy loved it). Overall i would recommend this place.

The best food in town. Been there 9 years ago and came back today. Still impressive!
