Zest in Ennis

As a tourist on her way to Cliffs of Moher, this place was really excellent! We wanted a quick on-the-go breakfast and coffee. They have pre-made ham and cheese paninis that they will toast for you. The coffee is excellent. I got the Americano with 2 sugar packets and milk, and it hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Odd little spot. You can dine in but have to order at the counter so you have to do that little awkward thing where the staff wait patiently while you browse the menu above their head. This always makes me feel awkward so I usually order something quickly before I really know what I want. I also thought the sandwich I ordered was mediocre for the price. And yet, it seems incredibly popular with the locals, so they're definitely doing something right.

Very tasty food (dinners set for €35 is a very good value 3 course) and the best lemon meringue I ever had.
