The staff were super warm and welcoming, and the whole place had a relaxed, comfortable vibe that made the meal even better. Everything felt cared for, from the service to the dishes themselves. I went with my girlfriend, and it's a genuine fine dining experience, perfect for grabbing a romantic dinner and taking a walk down to the river during the summer months. Must-see sights paired with must-have food. Portions are also truly generous, ideal for large families too. What impressed me most is that this feels like a real step up from the usual Indian takeaway, the plating, and the attention to detail all say "fine dining," even in a small Clare town. Naan was fresh and blistered, rice was fluffy, and the staff were warm and clearly proud of what they're serving. Clare isn't short on charm, but it's been missing a restaurant like this, one that treats Pakistani and Indian cuisine as something to be savoured, not just delivered in a bag. Can't recommend RiverSpice enough. Already planning my next visit.
