24/06/2025: THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! Just this past week, my family and I reconnected with our long-lost cousin (Ken Rothwell) who is a resident of this delightful town, Ballyjamesduff. We decided to catch breakfast together, and I opted for The Good Batch, based upon its online reviews. Let me just say: it did not disappoint! The coffee was AMAZING, and the scones were to die for!! Mind you, we had just spent a week in London, and yet these were THE best scones and coffee we had the entire trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire ambience was just perfect for a casual family get-together; connecting and getting caught up after all of these years. THANK YOU GOOD BATCH, for providing such delicious food and coffee!!! :-)

21/06/2025: The Town Diner was such a wonderful find. The food was some of the best we had in Ireland, no matter the price. Everything was fresh and simply prepared. The seating area was relaxed with a mix of locals. Our sever was a young lady that couldn’t have been more pleasant. We are from the U.S. and it reminded us of a classic American diner. Even the coffee was excellent.
My wife and I were researching her Irish lineage in Ballyjamesduff and were looking for someplace to get a bite.

11/03/2025: The chips are not being cooked all the way very hard when I bite into them used be great not so much anymore barely any seasoning on the spice bag but the delivery is very fast like to fast took 7 minutes to deliver my spice bag so it was probably reheated

29/05/2025: Worst food ever got in a Chinese takeaway,large order placed,food was very overcooked,chips were rock hard,no veg in spice bags/munchboxes,no spice or chill either,chicken balls very dry & overcooked,nobody enjoyed their food,save your money & go elsewhere,they are also charging the return on tins with no return logo.
06/02/2025: LABOURS MIGRANT WORKERS 3€ AN HOUR AND FORCED TO WORK OVERTIME + EXTRA FEES

22/03/2025: Busy place, we’ve passed by several times on our shopping trips to the North but never actually stopped. I’m glad to say we did. Staff very friendly, first time I’ve ever ordered food while waiting for the table but definitely prevents a delay in getting food. The breakfast was piping hot and fresh and extremely tasty. Quick service with smiles all around. Will def recommend and will def be visiting again. Keep up the good work guys.

24/05/2024: Is it a hardware shop with a beverage licence or a pub with a hardware shop?, you decide.Either way it’s a great and novel experience.
