The best restaurants in Kilfenora

10/09/2024: Lovely beef cheeks dinner and my partner had tasty chicken fillet burger. The beef was excellent quality and the chicken was soft and delicious. There was a wedding on there at the time and we weren’t waiting too long to get our food, which is impressive. They serve Guinness 0.0 from cans which was ideal for me driving.

01/09/2024: Loads of parking, nice lawn with tables out the back, Had a Thai chiclen curry with rice and chips €20. Tasty, hot, not too spicy and ample portion size. Excellent service despite it being a Sat evening and us in scruffy hiking gear... Clean and bright interior.

04/10/2024: What was a wonderful place to grab food has somewhere gone very wrong. Extremely poor service: wrong orders, ambivalent/rude staff , over charging on our bill, coupled with long delays on food made this second experience our last. That is before I even talk about the downgrade in food quality and the significant gouging mark up to experience all of the above. I actively recommend you steer clear, what was a fantastic restaurant, is gone. It is now replaced by a shade of its former self. Let me put it this way, so bad was my experience I remembered to write this review 3 months later!!

03/10/2024: I just stayed at Monks Ballyvaughan for 3 nights. From my first interaction with Grace on reception I had a good feeling about the place. My room was absolutely fabulous. The food in the restaurant is unbelievable and the staff are a credit to themselves and their management. Can’t wait to come back.
