Ordered toastie with chips and salad.
Soup and homemade brown bread.
We really enjoyed lunch. Toasties had carved ham and plenty of cheese.
Soup was homemade with delicious bread.
Lovely atmosphere on a Friday afternoon, locals enjoying catching up.
Staff very welcoming and helpful
09/08/2026: Ended up here on a Sunday, so there was a trad band playing. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and great food!

Chips drier than Gandhi's flip flop - genuinely impressive how moisture-free they were. The "battered" sausage arrived completely naked, not a hint of coating. Half pounder looked questionable and tasted worse.
The whole place is grim. Save your money and your stomach - go literally anywhere else.
