30/05/2025: Visited with my 7 month old daughter, my mom and 18 month old nephew. The attention to detail and service with small children was outstanding. Felt very welcome and will most definitely be back.

08/11/2025: I have been going to his restuaunt takeaway fir the last 6 months and the food the service has been nothing sort outstanding. This is just the best Chinese around the whole of mallow kanturk abd the surrounding area. Had a beef curry tonight with fried rice and spare barbecue ribs, oh my word the best and I mean the vest beef curry I have ever had even in the UK. Family run lovely people give ut a try

11/10/2025: Over 2 hours to get a pizza delivered less than 10 mins from the place. The App showed the order was COMPLETE 1hr before it was received. Rang after 90mins and asked what was going on and was told it would be 4 mins, rang back 20mins later and was told it would be another 10/15 mins. Nobody had a notion what was going on. Got the usual excuses of âweâre very busyâ etc, but surely it canât be that hard to give an indication on the app of how long an order will take - I never wouldâve ordered if I thought it would be 2hrs, I had 2 young kids waiting for their supper til 10pm. Itâs just really really poor service. Food was fine but then again hunger is a great sauce!!

Either Prices shown in the menu are for takeaway orders only.
Or An additional âŹ1 per person is charged for dine-in service.
21/03/2025: We stopped in this restaurant on a Friday evening. We were the only customers, which we found surprising but we decided to give it a go anyway. The place was very dirty: dust, dead bee right next to us, the menus that were given to us had food on them, the tea spoon used for the sugar hadn't been cleaned for a while (see photo), and the toilets were absolutely disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The food was decent though.
In the end, when we asked to pay, the owner replied it was 50⏠without showing us any bill and that it was only possible to pay in cash. However, 50 euros seemed quite expensive compared to the prices that were on the menus we were given. Therefore, we insisted on getting a bill and he wrote one down (52âŹ!), with prices that had nothing to do with what was displayed on the menu. When we got out, we took a take away menu to compare but the prices were a third set of prices. Even using this menu, the sum of our dinner (48.50âŹ) was lower than the bill presented to us, even though still more expensive than the menu we were given inside the restaurant. We decided to pay the 52⏠and left without confronting the man.
I feel very sorry for this man running this empty restaurant, but I better understand why it is this way. As I can't find any other negative reviews, I suppose my review will be deleted but I wanted this man to know his place could be so much better with a bit of cleaning and honesty about the prices.

08/07/2025: We popped in for the first time today. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed. It is the perfect lunch spot! I'll definitely return to try some of the coffee drinks, the sweets, and some of the other lunch options.
