20/04/2026: Had beautiful scampi and Guinness here. 10/10. Friendly atmosphere also.
07/03/2026: Had a meal here today.
Waitress was lovely and food was quite nice.
Unfortunately only the seats outside at the back are dog friendly but the staff sorted out some nice blankets to wrap up in.
Would visit again. :-)

23/10/2025: We were over in Newmarket Motors collecting a new Xpeng G6 and ‘The Daily Grind’ was recommended as the place to go to for a good lunch. The great food was matched by the welcome and service making the whole experience. We can also recommend the carrot and fruit cakes both taken home 😀
In fairness the recommendation did come from James Moylan in Newmarket Motors and the cafe is owned by his mother. Overall collecting the car and the lunch capped off a great day trip from Dublin.

24/03/2026: Very poor quality of food and atmosfere. I dont know it was owners or workersb but cheeky people. Highly NOT recommented that place and disgusting cold food!!!

14/04/2026: Toilets were filthy ,staff member had an aggressive attitude,food was running with grease. This establishment has deteriorated very much since my last review. I will not be returning.

08/11/2025: I have been going to his restuaunt takeaway fir the last 6 months and the food the service has been nothing sort outstanding. This is just the best Chinese around the whole of mallow kanturk abd the surrounding area. Had a beef curry tonight with fried rice and spare barbecue ribs, oh my word the best and I mean the vest beef curry I have ever had even in the UK. Family run lovely people give ut a try

08/12/2025: This place used to really good & we used to get take out here about once every 8 weeks or so for years.
We went back last Friday night & ordered 4 mains 4 nans & two starters & drinks etc… The food was shocking…. It was all inedible except the starters. Everything was loaded with salt even the rice. The nan bread wasn’t even baked. Long story short €94 down the drain. Won’t be visiting again

08/07/2025: We popped in for the first time today. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed. It is the perfect lunch spot! I'll definitely return to try some of the coffee drinks, the sweets, and some of the other lunch options.
