The best restaurants in Rathluirc (or charleville)

26/01/2025: We had coffee and hot chocolate and everything was very good. The waitresses are very friendly. Charleville is a nice town to stop over.

22/08/2024: Delightful late breakfast, good service and very tasty food. Nice stop on our trip from Limerick to Blarney castle.

07/01/2025: Got stranded here during the recent snowstorm - the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming, keeping all stranded guests well looked after and comfortable overnight (as well as planned guests!). In the morning they worked hard to get us all fed and watered, before helping everyone dig their cars out of the snow so they could get back home. Some staff were also stranded in the hotel, and worked tirelessly despite their shifts having ended hours before. I know some didn’t get much sleep either, so fair play to every single one of them for powering through despite the circumstances. Pay rises for every single one please! Thanks again to everyone working at the Charleville Park Hotel. ❤️

05/01/2025: Arrived here along with everyone else today unexpectedly due to the snow. I want to commend the staff. a skeleton crew because of the weather who had already worked a 24 shift for how they made us feel safe, warm., secure and fed. A special mention to Roisin, Una, Stephen, Ciara, Jade and Ava. I’ve no doubt there were more behind the scenes. If you are lucky enough to stay here know you will be well cared for.

31/08/2024: We had a late lunch there. We ordered the satay chicken and the spicy garlic chicken. Both exceeded our expectations. The chicken was wonderfully tender, And the sauce on both dishes was delicious.

27/12/2024: This is what I paid €7.95 for... What an absolute joke. The portions in Galway are 2x bigger. Also terrible service.

24/12/2024: I've gone to supermacs in Charleville 4 times this year and 3 times I've found items missing. It was impossible to check at the counter as it was food for a large number of people. Chips , Onion Rings and now a 5 Oz burger all short. I've tried emailing SM and Social media but No1 cares.
