The best restaurants in Dunfanaghy

09/06/2025: You’d miss this charming little open air pizza spot if you weren’t looking for it, which is a shame as the pizzas are as great as the ambience is charming. Either walk through the street-facing Patsy Dan’s (and grab a drink to bring into the Rusty Oven) or circle ’round back to the Dunfanaghy Bay side of the buildings to find the chalkboard signage and crowds of people. You might have a wait—we got lucky and snagged a small table. The habanero honey dip and olive teacup went great with our pizzas.

08/06/2025: Super friendly staff! Lovely buzzy place on a Sunday evening. Booking recommended, but we got the last available table at 17:45. Fantastic vegan pizza with great toppings. 1/2 bottles of wine available. Perfect. Pros: Clearly marked vegan pizza, atmosphere and proper pizzaiolo

18/03/2025: Loved the experience here. Wish the music had started closer to listed time but I understand it happens when all the players how are joining in arrive. We just didn't have as much time to enjoy as we'd hoped. But, whe they did start playing, it was awesome. Such talented musicians. And it was easy to order drinks from the bar and get food from The Rusty Oven (p.s. you go there behind the bar to order and then they'll bring your pizza to you in the pub). All around great experience.

16/06/2025: We recently stayed here for a hen party and had the entire main house to ourselves for two nights. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this venue for any private function. Not only is the house beautiful, warm, and cosy, but it’s also incredibly practical. We had full access to a catering kitchen, which made preparing and cooking meals for 20 people so easy - and enjoyable! The accommodation can host even more guests comfortably, and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Cottagey-rustic-cosy-Irish vibes! Upstairs, there's a great wee party room with a bar that you can stock yourself and enjoy for the weekend—it was so perfect, we didn't even leave the accomodation the first night as we had literally everything that we needed. The staff were also fantastic—very helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process. Would highly recommend this place! <3

06/02/2025: I had the pleasure of staying at Corcreggan Mill Lodge and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff made us feel right at home and it truly felt like we were part of the family, thank you Cindy! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The decor was charming and added to the overall ambiance of the lodge. We slept soundly each night and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Breakfast was simply superb! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We were spoiled with a continental breakfast. We left each morning feeling satisfied and energized for the day ahead. There is a Bistro with outside seating on the premises were you can have dinner, we had gourmet chicken corn tacos and guacamole- just GRAND! Overall, I cannot recommend Corcreggan Mill Lodge highly enough. The whole facility was just excellent, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay in Donegal, look no further than Corcreggan Mill Lodge. You won't be disappointed!

12/10/2024: Kind stuff members, great atmosphere and location, excellent food! Both the Irish breakfast and the porridge dish can be vegan which I very appreciate! Highly recommend place!
