The Rusty Oven

Dunfanaghy
29/06/2026: No fuzz, wooden pizza oven, friendly staff
29/06/2026: The best in Dunfanaghy! Dined here twice in three days, that’s how much we loved it! Super busy but so accommodating of you if you don’t have a booking, you’re served quickly and it’s so nice how family friendly it is. Pizzas are so delicious and my little boy loved the ice cream in a tea cup! A must for every trip we make here. Thanks guys!

Oyster Bar

Dunfanaghy
12/07/2026: Good food, fish & chips was tasty & price not too bad. €70 for 4 people no drinks. Staff were all friendly too
02/07/2026: July 2026: Guys, we ate here our entire vacation. Excellent food, friendly staff, always smiling, and even Wimbledon on the screens. Even though it's called the Oyster Bar, it doesn't have oysters, but that doesn't stop us from having an experience we'll definitely repeat. THANK YOU

Patsy Dan's

Dunfanaghy
29/03/2026: Very accommodating staff keeping us warm outside
09/02/2026: Tried all the pubs in the village but always settle on a favourite. Great atmosphere with locals but mostly tourist visitors. All the pubs dog friendly and felt very relaxed bringing in our dog. Excellent pints at reasonable price. Really enjoyed the music on Friday evening.

An Chistin

Dunfanaghy
25/07/2026: So disappointing. Heard such good things about the seafood and food. We paid €80 for 3 burgers a pizza and 2 taco fries and a chicken tender. Was utterly disappointing, which explains why the place was dead. Frozen food cooked in dirty oil. Burgers pre-cooked and then cooked to black and then cheese thrown on and not even melted ( even after a drive ). The chips and chicken stank of dirty oil and inedible. Service was sub-par. Its was pretty awful considering the amount your paying. You'd get better of a burger van, or just go elsewhere if you have tastebuds. Not a large order and it seemed like an inconvenience to those in the kitchen.
01/07/2026: Very average. Prices don’t reflect the quality of the food (quite expensive).

The Great Wall

Dunfanaghy
03/05/2026: We ordered one shredded chicken, two chicken chow mein, and one vegetable chow mein. Unfortunately, the food did not taste like authentic Chinese cuisine. The shredded chicken was very tough and difficult to eat. The chow mein noodles seemed like plain boiled noodles with a bit of sauce and an excessive amount of vegetables, which made the dish quite unpleasant and irritating to eat. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
