The best restaurants in Moville

03/12/2025: We booked our dates through Groupon, but Redcastle recorded the wrong dates. I wasn’t overly concerned at first, as I knew they usually honour the correct dates and that human error happens. I even reassured them that it wasn’t an issue and that we were happy to use our voucher on the dates we had originally planned. However, the reception manager then contacted me by voicemail. Even though I had expressed no annoyance about the mixup and they had already admitted the mistake she left a four minute voicemail that was completely uncalled for. The tone shocked me and left me extremely disappointed with Redcastle. I informed the hotel manager about the voicemail and the clear contempt shown by a member of his staff toward a guest they had never even spoken to before. As implied in the message, there was no warmth, no hospitality, and nothing that made me feel comfortable spending my hard earned money to stay at Redcastle. This was especially unfortunate given that the positive reviews were the reason we chose it in the first place. Thankfully, Groupon refunded us in full, and we’ll be using the money for something far less stressful than trying to book with Redcastle again.

28/11/2025: Lovley 3 day break at Redcastle Hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel heat was on all the time, we have never been to any hotel as warm as Redcastle. Breakfast is unbelievable
