09/10/2024: Love going to eat here,you can be sure you won't leave hungry all dishes are cooked fresh, the chicken marland is a favourite of mine especially when Margaret is cooking! Well worth it.

13/10/2024: Sunday lunch delicious. Great menu , 3 courses €25 .. simple menu with delicious food. Staff brilliant, professional and very helpful kind and attentive. Highly recommend a visit.

08/09/2024: Four of us visited on a Saturday evening. Three of our party had Cajun chicken and it was faultless. I had sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. The welcome was first class with a warm greeting and big smiles. The staff seemed really pleased to see us and that set the scene for a lovely evening. The place was modern and spotlessly clean. Special thanks to our servers Nadine, Leah and Bronagh (names in order of appearance!!). Their welcome, service and attention to detail throughout our visit was exemplary. We are so grateful to them for such a memorable experience.

03/01/2025: We stayed here over Christmas. Had big expectations due to the other times we’ve visited and was greatly disappointed by Christmas Day dinner which was definitely not ‘the Redcastle standard’ we know and love. Asked for a fridge when checking in was told it would be a few hours understandable they were busy, we waited 7 hours then queried it with reception who told us the fridges were all given out, had to chuck £50 worth the food in the bin. The service in general throughout our stay was also very poor. I was here to gather feedback as my entire family (14 of us) were planning to go next year, I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend. If you are staying I’d recommend eating in the boathouse, the best food we had over the 4 days and good attentive staff.

03/01/2025: Booked 4 night xmas package unfortunately through no fault of hotel had to leave a day early so missed a lovely xmas dinner and St Stephens day because of flu bug Lovely staff lovely hotel lovely location We hope to get back sometime in the new year Gary Donohue
