Anvil Restaurant
Saggart
23/09/2026: Had the Breakfast Tower for Two at Anvil Restaurant and honestly, it was amazing! 😍 Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. There was a great variety, and the portion was perfect for two people. We really enjoyed every bite and the whole breakfast experience was lovely. Definitely worth trying, and I’ll happily come back again! ❤️
21/09/2026: Excellent service-thanks Evita-goats cheese tart excellent ( though a little beetroot added would have been nice). I had the curry which had a nice kick. Personally I would have preferred a bit more rice and less chips though the chips were lovely. The only thing was the poppadom wasn’t very fresh and was like cardboard. They changed it but no different. Small issue. Lovely atmosphere. Thanks again

Jacobs Bar
Saggart
24/09/2026: I've been to see football several times and there's always a great atmosphere.
17/08/2026: We visited around 1 PM and really enjoyed the atmosphere and overall vibe of the pub. Unfortunately, we were made to feel very uncomfortable by a male local at the bar who kept monitoring us, questioning what we were doing, and following us outside when we went out. It felt subtly targeted.

Maple Tree
Saggart
06/09/2026: Great spot. They make a great effort with their customers, you feel really welcome. I didn't have food this time but it's always been amazing in the US
28/06/2026: We had such a lovely experience here thanks to our waitress Dee. We were two families dining together with four kids, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive the whole time. Nothing felt like too much trouble for her, and she made us all feel very welcome.
What really stood out was how thoughtful she was with the children — she even offered steamed vegetables for the baby without us having to ask, which was such a caring touch and very appreciated.
The service was warm, friendly, and genuine, and it made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was amazing, each course very delicious! Thank you all for looking after us so well!

China Garden
Saggart
15/06/2026: I got a beef chow mein here a few months ago and it was slimy and tasted like fish. So last week i wanted chinese food and thought i’d play it safe with chicken balls chips and curry sauce, and vegetable spring rolls, my meal came to €17 i gave her €20 and she gave me the food and i had to remind her there was change.
I’ve spent the last two days with the runs since i had the food. Never again that was their second chance from me
20/05/2026: I use this Chinese regularly the food is always good quality and priced very reasonably recommended
