This place has quickly become my go-to spot for shawarma and chicken wings! The food is always fresh, juicy, and packed with flavour. Their signature chicken wings are incredible — perfectly cooked, full of taste, and not too spicy.
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure you’ve got everything you need and that your order is just how you like it. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers great food and great service like this one.
Highly recommend to anyone craving quality food made with care!

31/12/2025: I've been going here since I was brought in by the paw over 40 years ago and it was a big treat then and I loved it then, listening to people being thrown around upstairs, same as my son does now and any of his pals lucky enough to be in tow.
Authentic bit of Dublin, great food and the best people is what you'll get in Fuscos.
We've a Christmas eve tradition going on in here and long may it last.
It's a Liberties institution.
22/12/2025: It was absolutely gorgeous, got food here over the years, chips, battered sausage, e.t.c., would recommend for families in the area or local, it was absolutely gorgeous and would go again.

31/12/2025: It kept us warm on the afternoon of December 31st. It was open even though it was well past lunchtime, the staff were friendly, the prices were slightly cheaper than the city average, and the food was good and unpretentious.
We had a burrito and a bowl with a beer for €28.

Čevapi was really nice,but "lepinja" was dry and because of that I give 3 stars.
Waitress was so nice and polite.
This is Balkan restoran and nobody speaks Serbian,Bosnian or Any other Balkan language.

11/11/2025: A great food-spot in the heart of the city. When I went here, I was feeling homesick and wanted some familiar cuisine to soothe my poor, aching heart. I was greeted with warmth, delicious food and a great experience. The owner was amazing and sat down with me to talk, gave me food to take home after my meal and gave me an all around great experience. I will come back next time I'm in town!

03/12/2025: They should call it a cabbage kebab instead of lamb. 90% of the thing is cabbage that you have to scrape away. Absolutely rank. Stomach was in bits after eating there. This is literally the definition of how to screw up something as simple as a kebab.
Place feels dirty. It has the vibe that everything is going to be sticky.
If you love cabbage and stomach pain this place is amazing!!

11/12/2025: amazing spot in dublin. We were craving some traditional fish and chips, with salt and vinegar.. and Max's was the place to go. Absolutely lovely, my husband had a mixed kebab the garlic and chilli sauce were a beautiful combination. Service was great, sense of humour and bright smile from Max, he made our night. Will definitely come back. Would recommend to anyone!!!

The food is already overpriced, yet I was still charged more than the menu price for what I ordered. The quality has fallen off a cliff compared to years ago, making this an absolute rip-off. For the same money, you’d eat far better in a pub, and for less effort you’d get better food almost anywhere else.
Chips tasted like they were fried in oil that hasn’t been changed in days, if not weeks.
Chicken was completely tasteless.
Garlic/mayo sauce was clearly not fresh.
The “regular” portion is a joke—just more rice and one tiny extra piece of meat compared to a small.
They’ve lost a long-time customer. If this is the direction they’re heading, it’s hard to see how the business survives.
14/12/2025: Used to be the best after pub/club kebab place in Dublin.
Was in last night and the cost of food in there was always steep but now it's just extortionate.
I was asked to take a seat and had the wrong order delivered to my table, then they brought my order and it was wrong twice.
I say this to the guy and he loses his mind like it's my fault they didn't make what I asked for.
Coming here for near on 20 years and I can't imagine I will be coming in again any time soon
