15/03/2026: Great place. I was passing by and was really hungry. I don't speak English, so I asked if McDonald's had any Russian-speaking employees, and it turned out they did. I was able to choose the menu I wanted, pay, and eat in my native language. It turned out to be the girl who works at McDonald's, who is Lithuanian. The food, as usual, was prepared very quickly and was delicious. There were no delays or problems, so I'm very happy. Great place. I was passing by and was really hungry. 31/10/2025: Moved to swords this year and decided to try fingal cafe in the hopes of finding a good chipper in the area. Really disappointing that they do not freshly batter the fish. They have a drawer filled with essentially part cooked fish (likely frozen and defrosted as needed) that they then put into the fryer. Because of this the batter is crispy on the outside but is mushy closer to the fish. A very short sighted way of cost cutting. I was hoping this could have been a place for us to continuously return to over the years but unfortunately I will never be back as the food is not up to scratch. At 35 euro for 2 fish and chips with sauces you really should be trying to do better for your customers fingal cafe.
