17/09/2026: We ordered fish and chips and they are the worst I have ever eaten. We had to throw away most of the order. Batter dreadful and it seemed food was either refried or the oil used to cook badly needed to be changed. Avoid

16/08/2026: Worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten! Absolutely disgusting food. Chips were soggy. Fish was burnt and tasted disgusting. Will never order from this place again.

25/09/2026: I got a so called large chips here this evening, absolutely disgusting, all hard reheated and no inside filling ,I rang them immediately as I live nearby,and asked why the chips were so greasy and hard with no potato filling in side ,The girl told me 'its not her problem", I asked if they could put me on a proper bag of chips and she told me "NO",that they are the chips and they changed suppliers and she knew chips were bad but not her problem, but this is not the first time this has happened with food here,grrasy tastless curry,under cooked chicken and absolutely disgraceful her attitude towards a customer, 4 euros for a bag of reheated greasy over fried chips the whole bag was like this its the worst Chinese take away in ireland,this is the last time I buy food here,as down the road there is an apache, and roma chipper across the road,,dont waste your money here food is crap

14/09/2026: I’ve came here before been off by 20 cents maybe more and have been told to go get that which I understand the more people you let of the more that will stop bringing that change but I was 14, also ordered here before and got 3 of the 2 dishes I order instead of the 1 that was supposed to be different then the place was closed and I couldn’t go back and get different food and I’m vegetarian and it had chicken, also loads of people I know that have eaten here complain on the spice box chicken as it’s stringy and it’s usually a hit or miss overall I love the people that work there and the chips are lovely especially the seasoning I hate to complain on these small issues I just want people to know thank you.

27/07/2026: When into order food at 9 45 and was they were but sign said opened till ten also there was helpful of people beside looking food also staff were not one bit friendly

11/10/2026: Our family of 5 pulled in when passing. Tables were dirty and when we asked gor them to be cleaned the girl gave them a quick wipe with attitude. The food we ordered was terrible and we normally get a supermacs after a match at weekends. 3 of us were upset stomachs all evening and my young lad into the next day..... Most of all like most of Monaghans service stations the rest rooms were Terrible filthy. My wife turned around after going into the laddies with the Gents as bad for us.... A busy station but I would honestly give it a bypass for Food.... or restrooms..
