11/07/2025: I ordered a Fresh Cream cake for a birthday online based on reviews. It was BY FAR the freshest and most delicious fresh cream cake we have ever had. Hands down we can's wait for the next birthday to try the another of their cakes!

28/05/2025: Cannot head west without popping in on both ends of our journey. Love the good food and always find a ‘something’ to buy among their gifts. Like this one ! Brown bread amazing and freezes beautifully.

13/06/2025: Once again the food was utterly AMAZING I'm not sure what it is about eating in here but you are so full the service is so professional so quick and the lads are so polite and nice you genuinely cannot get a better restraunt in galway it is better than the pullman in glenlo and we have been to that twice we regularly get takeaway my kids (21&18) love it but dining in experience is so much better thank you once again so full can't move

18/07/2025: I’m local and feel so grateful to have the pink van close by, it’s always delicious and they even made me a delicious ‘iced chocolate’ as I was missing it from Australia, I know to check instagram or Facebook (@mamanodrama.official) first to see if they are open that day. I’ve been tons of times and look forward to going again soon

01/07/2025: Well where do l start first, on a positive note the coffee is amazing. However, the owner was always unfriendly and flippant with me, despite me being very friendly and delighted to see people as l was a nurse busy working in the ICU during Covid time. Trying to get a conversation from him was like pulling teeth. Bare in mind when all the arty fartys would arrive he was all talk. I bought atleast 2-3 coffees per day for over a year and was never told there was a loyalty system in place. So never availed of a free coffee until l seen somebody else using their loyalty card. I was gobsmacked to say the least. Unfortunately that was my experience and also my husband's, who would get on with anybody found him unwelcoming. This is the first review l have ever written in my life and its a shame it has to be a negative review. I hope this resonates with the owner as being kind to your customers goes along way

18/06/2025: A very strange impression. We came here on a positive note. Before that, we visited the Crystal Center. Great. We read positive reviews about this cafe. Indeed, it has two components, two parts. Simple souvenirs that are everywhere and a little bit of exclusivity. For example, loose coffee. A pleasant smell, but not coffee. All this could have been a plus, but then there are big "BUTs". 1. The staff, standing with their backs to the hall, and blocking the sales counter, were disassembling some kind of unit on it. It was difficult to attract their attention. 2. For some reason, they had a hard time accepting the order. To do this, we literally had to poke at the menu. 3. We were very surprised when we asked for coffee not in disposable cups. For us, cardboard and good coffee are incompatible. The drink should be in heated porcelain or, at worst, ceramics. Coffee must be ground before preparation. Brew in a Turk, cezve or ball. This is a ritual. In this case, a cheap eatery that claims five stars. 4. Soon after the order was brought, they started to demonstratively clean up around us (and this was an hour before closing). 5. There is a good pizzeria nearby. At the same time, we ordered pizza from them. But when I entered this establishment with a box, I received a sea of ​​​​reproach and indignation. Where is the warmth and goodwill. The establishment has tables and chairs. Is it a big crime if two elderly people eat their slice of pizza in addition to the cake and drinks ordered in the establishment. The car is parked right next to the establishment, with the windshield at the door. Let's say the staff did not see the blue label on the glass, but our age, our 70 years, is difficult to hide. Showing fundamental ill will towards the sick, elderly people is bad for business. In connection with all of the above, the assessment is generally negative. There are many small villages nearby, but with good, kind people. With excellent restaurants, and we left there in a good mood.

02/08/2025: Basic food but not too bad. Staff pleasant but a bit clueless. Nice setting. Place needs a manager.

10/07/2025: Great menu, lots of options. Spotlessly clean restaurant, toilets and outdoor areas.

23/07/2025: I was sad to see Roots closed down next door so called in to the Cakery. Some neighbours and friends had warned me against visiting due to the owner (who I believe is named Ali) being rude and the place generally unclean. I went to order a coffee and he sniggered at me, shouted across the room to confirm my order and dismissed another customer after me. I told one of our group chats about it afterwards and was scolded for even giving them a potential custom today!! 😂 I really do hope this place is eventually replaced by a local-run family store.
