19/11/2024: Ordered a cake for our mom’s 80th birthday dinner, the cake was described as ‘best ever in life’. Also ordered gluten free cupcakes and they were delicious. Can’t recommend Ann and the White Gables team enough, the food and service is incredible. A definite must for any occasion. Have ordered breads, cupcakes, cake and hampers from White Gables, 10/10 every time. Thank you Ann and team.

16/02/2025: We ordered a unicorn cake for my daughter's birthday and she was absolutely delighted. Looked amazing and tasted great too.

07/01/2025: Visited this place today with a friend. We waited few minutes and then we sat down, waited again few minutes and decided to go up and take menu ourselves. Then we went up to order and we were told they will come to us to take an order, even though someone who arrived after us went up to the till and ordered, also got food before us. My friend had a cajun chicken ciabatta, while placing order she was asked does she wants ciabatta or wrap, ordered ciabatta and still got wrap 🤷🏼‍♀️. I had ham and cheese toasted sandwich which in my opinion had barely any filling for €10. (Now this is one half as Im holding the other half). We waited good 40mins to get food, which was luke warm when we got it. We ordered desert as well but we had to have it to go as we waited so long for food and we had to get back to work. Desert was okay. Caffe is very cold, but waitress was nice. Overall, we would not come here again after today’s experience.

02/12/2024: Took my family up here for brunch only to discover that it was CLOSED despite saying it’s open for business on here. Went next door to the furniture shop that leads into the restaurant and there was one staff member there that said it’s closed because they can’t find any chefs to work for them. I had checked the opening times on Google maps to confirm that it was open before driving 30 minutes out to them. Would have been a very disappointing trip to Moycullen if it wasn’t for the amazing Galway Cakery Cafe next door. This place used to be a regular spot for me and the family until the new management took over.

08/10/2024: I has the best food ever. Had the burger it was amazing.. himself had salmon. He loved it.. lauran was great.. got a free brownie for my Birthday.. such a nice gesture.. well done everyone it's a lovely experience..

16/10/2024: Would give zero stars if I coild. I’ve been a regular customer here, supporting this small business until now. The manager / owner is nearly always sat down at one of the tables, playing cards on his phone while his staff are working hard in the kitchen. Today I ordered a takeaway, and on collection, I decided to sit inside instead. Throughout the entire time, tony stood behind the curtains, glaring at me with his arms folded. When I got up to leave, he followed me outside and, in an arrogant manner, told me I couldn’t sit inside with a takeaway or bring in my own drink—despite the fact that I was originally going to take my food away, and I hadn’t even consumed it there, only opened it and sipped it a few times before leaving. To make matters worse, he insultingly compared me to a child who doesn’t know any better. This kind of arrogance and lack of respect for loyal customers is unacceptable. I can’t imagine how he treats his own staff. Absolutely ridiculous.
