Neither coffee nor pastries were to be seen, as was the cafe itself. It turns out that it can disappear without a trace at the whim of its owner. Five adults (almost 70 years old each) were interested in this location and spent a lot of time trying to find it. It didn't work. The owner claims that we have no right to reflect our negative experience. He is very wrong. The resource was created to help travelers and not to please the owners or advertise their establishments. 1. Look carefully at the description of the object. There are no working hours at all. There are no references or landmarks that should help find the location. Its location is not obvious. The owner was obliged to give more detailed information, and not steal our time and also say: I want to work, I want to not. And when not, there is no bus. 2. Along the road, there is not a single designation, sign, pointer, or anything else that helps to identify the object. There is such a thing at other objects nearby. For example, a children's center. Already at the entrance, there is a large information board with the necessary information that helps to understand the situation. Opening hours of the center, restaurant, cafe, etc. You don't have to go down. And there's nothing here at all. 3. It turns out that the bus may not be there. This is the owner's whim. Moreover, in the absence of the bus, there should be an information poster that a cafe usually works here. With an indication of when it will work again. 4. Local residents were unable to help find the object, and this does not indicate the reaction of the natives, but that the object does not enjoy their interest and popularity. 5. Almost everything, but especially the reaction of the owner. We drove three times near the point marked on the navigator. We did not find the bus. We are driving from the center. The cafe should be on the left, but it is not. We stop, try to clarify, but get absolutely incomprehensible explanations. Up to showing with hands in different directions. We found an excellent children's center on the left below. Impressive. But we couldn't get a hint there either. There it is. But it's not there again. A bewitched place and a spoiled mood from the strangeness of those around us. We visited a cafe and a pizzeria next to it in the center. Moving towards Galway, we didn't find it. We turned around and didn't find it. Again towards Galway and nothing. There are no clear signs, no pointers. But the most amazing thing is the attitude of the people living and working nearby. They help fictitiously without helping. The town of Waterard is nearby. We always left it with a holiday in our souls, but here ...

01/07/2025: Well where do l start first, on a positive note the coffee is amazing. However, the owner was always unfriendly and flippant with me, despite me being very friendly and delighted to see people as l was a nurse busy working in the ICU during Covid time. Trying to get a conversation from him was like pulling teeth. Bare in mind when all the arty fartys would arrive he was all talk. I bought atleast 2-3 coffees per day for over a year and was never told there was a loyalty system in place. So never availed of a free coffee until l seen somebody else using their loyalty card. I was gobsmacked to say the least. Unfortunately that was my experience and also my husband's, who would get on with anybody found him unwelcoming. This is the first review l have ever written in my life and its a shame it has to be a negative review. I hope this resonates with the owner as being kind to your customers goes along way

18/06/2025: A very strange impression. We came here on a positive note. Before that, we visited the Crystal Center. Great. We read positive reviews about this cafe. Indeed, it has two components, two parts. Simple souvenirs that are everywhere and a little bit of exclusivity. For example, loose coffee. A pleasant smell, but not coffee. All this could have been a plus, but then there are big "BUTs". 1. The staff, standing with their backs to the hall, and blocking the sales counter, were disassembling some kind of unit on it. It was difficult to attract their attention. 2. For some reason, they had a hard time accepting the order. To do this, we literally had to poke at the menu. 3. We were very surprised when we asked for coffee not in disposable cups. For us, cardboard and good coffee are incompatible. The drink should be in heated porcelain or, at worst, ceramics. Coffee must be ground before preparation. Brew in a Turk, cezve or ball. This is a ritual. In this case, a cheap eatery that claims five stars. 4. Soon after the order was brought, they started to demonstratively clean up around us (and this was an hour before closing). 5. There is a good pizzeria nearby. At the same time, we ordered pizza from them. But when I entered this establishment with a box, I received a sea of ​​​​reproach and indignation. Where is the warmth and goodwill. The establishment has tables and chairs. Is it a big crime if two elderly people eat their slice of pizza in addition to the cake and drinks ordered in the establishment. The car is parked right next to the establishment, with the windshield at the door. Let's say the staff did not see the blue label on the glass, but our age, our 70 years, is difficult to hide. Showing fundamental ill will towards the sick, elderly people is bad for business. In connection with all of the above, the assessment is generally negative. There are many small villages nearby, but with good, kind people. With excellent restaurants, and we left there in a good mood.

09/06/2025: Stopped in for breakfast on our way out of Galway. Quite possibly the best poached eggs I've had in my life, and my husband is a convert to shaksuka!

02/12/2024: Took my family up here for brunch only to discover that it was CLOSED despite saying it’s open for business on here. Went next door to the furniture shop that leads into the restaurant and there was one staff member there that said it’s closed because they can’t find any chefs to work for them. I had checked the opening times on Google maps to confirm that it was open before driving 30 minutes out to them. Would have been a very disappointing trip to Moycullen if it wasn’t for the amazing Galway Cakery Cafe next door. This place used to be a regular spot for me and the family until the new management took over.

08/10/2024: I has the best food ever. Had the burger it was amazing.. himself had salmon. He loved it.. lauran was great.. got a free brownie for my Birthday.. such a nice gesture.. well done everyone it's a lovely experience..

18/06/2025: Interesting interior, normal food, good staff. We found this place at a good time. We were looking for a pink bus and ended up here. Good luck. It is located in a hollow, in the same building as a sports center, and not upstairs by the main road, as indicated on the map.

18/04/2025: Don’t waste your money. I’m still in shock at how awful the food was. It has so much potential to be a great place for a family meal but instead it was inedible food at outrageous prices. Much better options available within 5 mins drive
