16/11/2024: I booked kajal for a late lunch/dinner with 4 of my friends. From the moment we arrived we were rushed for our drinks and food order. At one point the waiter nudged my arm to make my mind up on my decision. The space between starter and dinner was literally 5 minutes.
The portions were lunch size for dinner prices. €17 for starter €27 for main course (lunch size)
The waiting staff were at our table every second clearing stuff away constantly.
The bill was €324.50 with 1 bottle of wine and 2 drinks. And a 10%. ‘discretionary‘ service charge.
When leaving I went to the manager and said about the rushed service - he did not say one word but ushered me out of his way!
The most rushed meal, with less than impressive food and awful service .
Do not go to this awful restaurant!!

01/01/2025: My family and I went to jaipur and had a very nice dinner. My children had a chicken korma and raved about it. My wife had prawns and I had rogan josh. The portions were generous, and it was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. It wasn’t too expensive for a lovely dinner. I will definitely be coming back soon.😄
12/12/2024: We had not been to Jaipur in years but it was always a restaurant that held a special place in our hearts from having had some lovely evenings there and been really looked after by staff — years ago. We went for my birthday and invited my parents. The food was ok. My parents lamb rogen josh was tasty enough but lamb seemed a bit tough. My prawn jalfrezi was ok. The service was unbelievably poor. The head waiter was not friendly. The sound system was a radio station and every time an order came in it sounded on the sound system. The decor was much nicer before. I would not go again, what was a beautiful restaurant with great food has been transformed into an overpriced unpleasant restaurant with ok food. Such a shame.

13/01/2025: This food here is unbeatable! My partner and I love coming here and we even make a 40 minute journey to eat here as its so good and the staff are so lovely. I still haven't found any other Indian place that can come close to as good. The prices are reasonable and it's always clean and has a lovely atmosphere. You could ask me if i wanted to eat here everyday and I would never be able to say no. I come here every birthday and for most occasions and bring my whole family as they love it too. Never close down pls and extreme compliments to the chef! 10/10 favourite restaurant out there and definitely recommend :)

Service was very bad ,it was like we were an inconvenience to the waiting staff , no smiles or eye contact, everything was rushed.We asked for water three times before we actually got it.
We had barely finished our starters and they were hovering around, asked 3 times if we were finished then the main came about 1 minute after the starter plate was cleared, the same approach with the main,we indicated we didn't want desert and the card machine was thrust upon us , still no smiles or eye contact, or even ask if we enjoyed our meal.
81 euro for 2 meals and a bottle of wine which is about average price.
But you expect a nice dining experience for the cost.
We won't be back.
Indi spice across the road is a much nicer restaurant with much better staff.
Chilli shaker is a big no for us. Won't return

27/04/2024: This place used to be great for takeaway but lately quality has dropped. I ordered a vegetarian dish but the equivalent meat dish was delivered & I couldn’t eat it. I emailed them to let them know about my dissatisfaction but got no reply. Wouldn’t order from them again

28/12/2024: Ordered India link for years and it was my favourite Indian takeaway, got it tonight and it was possibly the worst curry I've ever eaten and I'm debating even ever ordering again. Got butter chicken, Tikka masala and korma, and ordered garlic naan gave us plain. The curries tasted like pure sugar water, no spice genuinely felt so sick with how sweet it was you wouldn't even know it was Indian food. So disappointed as it was my favourite :(

16/10/2024: I ordered Sherpali chili chicken, which I’ve ordered many times before. However, they served it twice with a sweet red sauce, which isn’t what I expected from the Chef’s special.
the food quality seems to have declined, and it no longer feels like an authentic Indian restaurant. It seems they may be adjusting their recipes to cater to local tastes rather than staying true to actual flavors.
