23/09/2026: My stay here at the old borough was outstanding, for how cheap the rooms and pints were I was pleasantly surprised and the staff were so kind, Steven was their to check us in and showed us our room and told us all about what the area had to offer and also Alanna on the bar went out of her way all night to make sure we were well looked after. overall can’t fault one thing about our stay will definitely be back again.
23/09/2026: Great pub great staff. Steven and megan the managers couldnt do enough for you. Bar man jayden and Ola deserve a raise because they are absolute gents. The prices are cheap. Rooms are beautiful. And Megan is on the ball. Alana,lauren and thuyen the waitresses are very attentive.

27/09/2026: Booked Kajjal last minute for date night and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the flavour within the dishes was immaculate. The waiters were so attentive and looked after our every need. Last of all the ambience and atmosphere were perfect, a fantastic mixture of romantic and relaxing. I can’t wait to return!

13/09/2026: Lovely home cooked food, very fresh. We sat in for dinner and had great, friendly service. It seems to operate mainly as a takeaway as we were the only people sitting inside but everything was very clean and well presented and we were well looked after.

02/08/2026: I would like to add a negative opinion about the restaurant, as most restaurants ask for your debit card details from the ATM when ordering. According to the law, every bank prohibits giving out any card details, as well as the PIN to the card. How is it possible in this country to have them sneak into your accounts?
31/07/2026: I took take away from here. The food was very sweet chicken tikka masala was more like chicken tikka kheer. Not recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian tase. Only positive is chikkan tikka was good.

13/08/2026: The worst butter chicken I have ever had. What was especially disappointing is that, without clearly informing customers, they include coconut cream in the butter chicken unless you specifically choose the gluten-free option.
The dish tasted nothing like authentic butter chicken. It was essentially chicken cooked in a coconut chutney, with an overwhelming amount of butter. The combination was strange, overly heavy, and completely missed the flavour and character of a proper butter chicken.
If you’re actually looking to enjoy a good butter chicken, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. It was extremely disappointing and definitely not what I expected when ordering butter chicken.

16/08/2025: I decided to take a gamble on their limited edition special at the moment, the naan lamb kebab, it didn’t disappoint at all, full of flavour, and only €8
