09/04/2025: Stopped 1 night, great value. Comfy clean room and good sized bathroom. Drinks are great value. The breakfast was very good with great choice and very reasonable.
06/04/2025: The room cleaning service can be greatly improved. Otherwise, excellent.

Chilli Shaker
Swords
12/02/2025: Had a delivery, tikka masala, was absolutely a joke, under seasoned, watery, tasteless.
As was the korma my wife had. Raita was like a sauce from a bottle. Overall just disappointed. I wouldn't try again or recommend.
02/02/2025: Food was nice but avoid with young children, some waiters couldn’t have been more helpful but the manager / main waiter needs to understand that 5 o’clock service (early bird) on a Sunday brings young children. The waiter / manager complaint was his chair was too far out but this was a result of the table provided by the restaurant.

Everest Kitchen

20/04/2025: Went on a Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm with my husband and daughter. Had wanted to try the place for years but always opted for the chilli shaker down the road a bit. Decor was shabby, ripped wallpaper old carpet and curtains. Tables had paper table cloths and napkins, some tables had vases with flower's in that had died in my guessing a couple of weeks previous.
Placed our order from the early bird menu. Slow service, even though we were the only people in the restaurant. Starters came , 2 chicken pakora and 1 chicken tikka. Chicken pakora was just like strips of chicken in batter ,tikka was OK. Mains came 15mins after our Starters. Everything looked good. I ordered chicken jalfrezi, on tasting I found the chicken to be more reminiscent of turkey due to the strong taste of the meat. The jalfrezi sauce was nice and the nann bread was delicious, that was until I was about to dunk a piece of it into the sauce when I noticed a black hair sticking out of it. On closer inspection the black hair was baked into the bread. I couldn't eat any more as this was the final straw. The waiter came to clear the table, showed him the hair in the bread he said sorry and that was it. We asked for the bill , it came and waiter said there was 10% of the bill due to the hair! The bill was still almost €100. Never going to return here. It is run down and extremely shabby. The food, well certainly didn't leave us in awe to say the least and that's leaving out the hair in the nann bread. Would certainly not recommend to anyone.
05/04/2025: Excellent food and service. Very welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening here. Looking forward to our next visit.

Spice Of India
Swords
29/03/2025: Really bad takeaway food, prawn dish costing €19.95 had 5 prawns, the meat in the other dish was minimal too, they use a lot of food colouring and the curry is bland & tasteless, don’t waste your money here 0/5
22/02/2025: Very disappointed with food quality and taste.
