06/08/2026: We tried Battoni’s on Friday evening. The food was excellent, but overall it wasn’t for us. The atmosphere felt flat, the way staff were spoken to was uncomfortable to watch, and the place could do with a good tidy.
Reading some of the glowing reviews from local high-flyers, you would have to wonder whether they do not travel very often, have unusually modest expectations, or were exceptionally well looked after with the dinner and red wine. Either way, our experience did not match the hype.

14/06/2026: spice bag is good one time ordered it and they gave me some box with curry in it which is not a spice bag i dont like curry bro not cool i went back and said it then some old lady blamed me

25/07/2025: The pizza and chips are really good, it's a perfect balance of homemade and fast food, it doesn't feel like eating grease but it also doesn't feel too traditional, its the perfect treat!
