The best restaurants in Annascaul

09/07/2025: Where everyone's a local. Stopped off this time in anascual and I have to say I was delighted I did. From entering Patcheens Bar I knew it was the right place. The big welcome, the ease of ordering was great, Food was excellent, large portions and very fresh and it is a Lovely cosy bar. The reason id say where everyone's a local is because of Amy, the bar person / waitress / nice person. She was above excellent with the people that came in and great to see staff welcome the locals by name. She never met me before but she just chatted away as if I was a local. I Would highly recommend.

05/07/2025: Cozy pub with a pleasant atmosphere.

05/07/2025: Nice spot for dinner and a drink. Lots of history/signs to look at. Service was friendly and food was tasty. We were there early so no live music.

02/07/2025: We enjoyed a nice atmosphere and dinner at the South Pole Inn. The service was very friendly and quick as well. The vegan casserole was a tasty vegetarian option and well seasoned!

12/06/2025: Above and beyond experience! We arrived wet after walking from Camp. Knew we could not check in until after 3 so had a pint at the Newly opened Dan Foley pub next door. Great experience there too. Back at the Old Anchor Brian got us checked in and put our wet boots in the drying closet. Great room! Comfy bed! Fabulous breakfast! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

24/05/2025: Everything was very clean, the atmosphere was great, the welcome was warm, and the breakfast was plentiful. Everything your heart could desire. A pub and a small shop are nearby. A perfect stop on the Dingle Way.
