05/11/2024: The place was lovely. Staff were friendly. The food was amazing. It was severely understaffed when I stayed, bar service was dreadfully slow due to lack of staff, we ordered room service during the nite and it was delayed 3 times (almost an hour wait) only to be told they didn't have the ingredients to make what was on the menu.

10/11/2024: We had such a lovely time just having a drink and starter at The Thatch that we went back the next day for lunch.
Dick and all the staff were friendly and the portions really generous. Dick was so welcoming and we had great gardening chats. Will definitely return

20/07/2024: Ordered steak with garlic butter. They gave me a solid block of butter. Should have been melted. They were missing sides. Steak had hair on it.
30/06/2024: Food is bad to average, but the service is worse. 3 hours for a starter and main course. Many items missing from the menu.
They didn't do cocktails because they were too busy.
Had to go to the bar ourselves to get our drinks as the waiters were useless.
Asked for the bill 3 times. Came out wrong. Told them they are missing 3 main courses from the bill.
