03/08/2024: Have to say one of the best Chinese if not the best. Food is always excellent. The service is great. The portion size is fantastic and great value for money, and the reception is always great, very friendly, and welcoming. Can't fault The Good Year at all. Love it.

29/08/2024: I enjoyed my time in the Barrow Lodge pub it was a nice quiet pub played pool. A great atmosphere and great service from Noel had a laugh with him. I would recommend this pub to anyone. 😊❤

18/09/2024: Food was brilliant and woman taking my order over the phone was also lovely. Their delivery driver, however, was not lovely. When she spoke to me on the phone asking me about the location of my house she was extremely rude and wasn't much better when delivering the food to the house. Opened the window of her car basically saying "I amn't moving from my car, come get your food if you want it" and couldn't even say thanks when I handed her the money. Not great to say the least.

28/10/2024: Ordered a take away last night and it never arrived

28/06/2024: I got a pizza and it looks really good but it's not fully baked, some places are raw. Please improve that and u will be my choice again because the addings are good. Garlic dip should also bit more garlic 😅 I made order by just-eat.ie and the service was fine, delivery guy on time and nice 👌

25/10/2024: I used to come here often pre pandemic times, when my aul pal Sean would be sitting at the bar jokes and tales were always plentyful. I got a surprise when I decided to go in for a pint of Guinness recently. No longer has the same character, staff are clueless, rude and inexperienced. Customers- what is left of them do not have a chat. Not the same. Will not be back.

02/11/2024: I walked in and the waft immediately hit me. The boys can’t even speak english, it’s like talking to the TV when watching East Enders. The boys are very dark and the place smells of cheesy foreskin. The food is dreadful and the staff are extremely unhelpful. My nanny caught Gonorrhoea in her mouth from the naan bread. I managed to get into the kitchen and thats where the real horrors began. Jimmy was stroking his meat with out of date olive oil and the state of the place was disgusting. The head chef was putting his own ball scratchings in the curry and tasting it as it was cooked. It seriously looked as if though the kitchen hadn't been cleaned in years, with what I hope to be grease and grime all over the walls, floors and ovens. There wasn’t even a sink or soap anywhere in the restaurant. The staff are very aggressive, annoying and ignorant, especially Jimmy. Thats not even an Indian name, not authentic at all. I nearly slipped in jimmy’s feces on the floor when I first walked in.

15/09/2024: The worst food ive ever had. Discusting Food. I actually don't know what it was to be honest. Which must be bad because i love indian. Felt sick after. Don't waste your money.

08/06/2024: Food was disgusting. Avoid it. I got the kebab. I didn’t eat it. It went in the bin unfortunately.
