26/10/2025: Got an egg foo yung,was ok but got chips with it,they were disgusting,so brown and hard.would never get chips again out of here

12/10/2025: We ordered from The Good Year in Portarlington and, sadly, it was a very disappointing experience. I had the salt and chili shredded chicken and it was stomach-turning from the first mouthful — the texture was awful, almost like chewing the white fat off a cooked ham. Completely unpleasant and inedible.The curry sauce was just about OK, but nothing memorable. The chips were overcooked, dried out, and tasted like they’d been sitting for far too long. We also got curry triangles which were very bland — I genuinely couldn’t even tell you what was in them.On a positive note, they did include a small portion of free chicken wings. These were actually quite nice and a thoughtful gesture, but unfortunately they were the only highlight in an otherwise dreadful order.Overall, the meal was poor quality and definitely not worth the money. I won’t be ordering from here again.

06/11/2025: Let me start by saying the the two older ladies in the deli and lovely, however, this is a Maxol issue and the two ladies were not behind the deli. I like a sausage and we're all annoyed with the constant prices rising for everything but the standards have also dropped. It's like a free for all, a grab and run with businesses against their own people. Get the food while it's hot! 'No pun intended'. I just have to show what they're making and charging a euro for, you don't get to see the real quality until you break or bite into it. Absolutely awful and the lady that's behind the glass isn't the most pleasant to return it, however, I think that's a language issue rather than rudeness, she's probably lovely. So, it isn't personal, you expect a nice sausage for a euro, which went up 10% in the past couple of months and the quality went down. I know this is a small issue, but it underpins the bigger one, quality and greed in Ireland from business owners. Let's be honest, the sausage came in a big bag and probably cost 15 cent. You can't justify the mark up on things! If you're putting up prices, the quality must improve!

13/10/2025: Nice and convenient place to get a coffee, filling up and getting some papers. Car wash outside is also very good. However, one of the staff members in Deli are absolutely horrible. There's no need for rude comments about what people are ordering, we're paying for it in the end. Couldn't figure her name, but you should be ashamed of yourself. I'll avoid getting deli from this place.

11/05/2025: This restaurant was amazing truly delicious i could of ate every thing there staff were very friendly and I felt a warm welcome everything matched my expectations 😋 😊 ❤️ ☺️ ♥️ 😀 😋

02/04/2025: Placed a takeaway order, when driving in they called to say they were too busy and could I wait longer or accept a refund. Accepted the refund option. Then received a call about 2 hours later to say the food was ready, fair enough we all make mistakes, but explained it to the restaurant about the refund and they said refund would be sorted out, 4 days later there is still no refund!!
