08/02/2026: ​We stumbled upon this hotel in the Blue Book while searching for a small wedding venue. The food photos looked so incredible that we decided to make the trip from Sligo just to try it—and we were not disappointed. The dining experience felt like being in a fine French restaurant. ​The wine selection was beautiful, and the food was equally impressive. Standout highlights included the sole starter and the mushroom & leek soup. The fillet of beef was easily the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was also fantastic; the rhubarb fruit salad was truly unique and delicious. ​We were definitely the youngest couple there by about 20 years 😂, but if you truly appreciate high-quality food, I cannot recommend this place enough!
