10/08/2024: had a lovely time learning more about Kilkee at Conway's last month. everyone in the pub was extremely friendly and invited, ready to share great stories and tell us more about what Glin has been like through the years. this was especially fascinating to us as our great-grandparents emigrated from the town.

20/10/2024: We ended up there by chance, just passing by. The place isn't much to look at, outside or inside, but even though it was lashing rain outside, there were good few people inside eating lunch. We decided to join. I had the best chicken curry in a long long time. The chef Shantha Hettiarachchi (I took their card) is very friendly, we got chatting and he even gave us a bag of Sri Lanka's "chips" to go (find out for yourselves, I'll leave it be a mystery). Definitely worth a visit, we'll be back there for sure next time we are around Limerick area. While there, locals were calling in for take aways, so other food must be gorgeous too.

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!
Ich durfte sogar für 3 Stunden mein Gepäck dort lassen und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

06/10/2024: More than average accommodation, dilapidated floor above the bar, very noisy until 1 a.m. (you can hear everything from the room). Bathroom in common areas.
Let us still note the warm welcome from the hosts and the pleasant discussions.
08/07/2024: I was booked in for 4 nights and after the first night it was time to move on. Room in bad need of updating, mould on the wall and power lines running out through the window and to the bedside lamp, the wiring to the bedside lamp didn’t fill me with confidence . Sorry but I wouldn’t be recommending this place, but if it was upgraded it would be a gold mine as it’s in a great location.

29/07/2024: We're currently half way through our stay. I wanted to write a review after our first night, that's how impressed we were, but didn't get around to it!
From the moment we arrived Estelle has been warm, friendly and inviting. She showed us to our room, which is very comfortable indeed.
The bed is amazing, the shower is possibly the most powerful I've ever experienced! Beautiful soft towels.
Breakfast is delicious, the bacon and scrambled eggs are to die for. The pancakes are amazing.
We simply cannot recommend O’Driscoll’s highly enough. You will not regret booking your stay here.
Special mention to Estelle's spaniel Freddy, who is also very sweet and welcoming!
