17/10/2025: Nice friendly bar with real log fires , the food looked good but I had aready eaten so didn’t try it. The Guinness was good and I felt welcome.
27/09/2025: Recently stayed in Skelly's for 2 nights with our French Bulldog. We were made feel very welcome by Pat, Séamas and the wonderful staff, nothing was a problem and they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. As dog owners Skellys was ideal for us they have dog friendly rooms and there are lovely walks nearby on the river and on the canal. We were able to have the dog with us in the pub at all times and everybody was very friendly. We had a meal there on both nights, I had stir fried prawns on the first night and a steak sandwich on the second, both were delicious and they have a lovely wine menu to choose from. We also had breakfast and lunch which were very tasty. Big thank you to Pat, Seámas, and all the family and staff we will definitely be back 🐾🐾❤️

18/09/2025: Went in after lunch time, decided to get the steak sandwich and a pint of Guinness. The steak itself was tiny, about half the size of the bread, and the Guinness was quite possibly the worst pint I've had, actually, I think the whole meal was quite possibly the worst I've had out. Won't be stepping foot in again.

25/11/2025: Absolutely terrible. Called in there yesterday as I'd been before and it was quite good. Not now. Three staff on duty yesterday. Two of them sat at a table,loudly discussing their alcohol intake on a night out while glued to their phones. One had her feet and shoes on the table. The place was cold and unwelcoming. I won't be going back. It's a very sad fall from grace
14/10/2025: Been here plenty of times, and it is my GO TO. The staff are always lovely, chatty and on the ball whenever I walk in even when it’s busy. The blonde girl is an excellent barista, coffees are always amazing and I never leave unhappy. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 🤩🤩

18/11/2025: Every year we have been to Center Parcs we have ordered here. But this year we tried to ring in an order and we're told we had to order on-line. Placed the order online and it was the cancelled!
16/11/2025: Its our second time to have food delivered from Jolly Boys. The first time it was delayed over an hour and was cold when we got it but they said something went wrong in the kitchen, so we decided to give them a second chance. We were given a delivery time of about 30mins, then told it would be delayed 30mins, then told it would be a further 30mins. Finally we got our very cold food after 1hour 40mins. Complete waste of €60, most of it went in the bin. Honestly an absolutely ridiculously poor service!

25/09/2025: Best pizza i had on a take a way place , the special souce they have mango and chilies is amazing, out of this world. the guys there have some skills, the service is also 5 stars very friendly ,accommodating , professional. I whas realy impressed whit everything. Congratulations im giving them my hat . Il be there soon ,

09/10/2025: Ordered the new kebab ( donor ) asked for salad and sauces no onions but they gave it to me with just sauce only ,
I don't mind that but the worst part the naan bread was cold , it's as if they took it out the fridge. Shop was not busy two guys working was on the phones sitting on the counter tops when I went in.
Terrible service and not paying attention to details.
05/10/2025: Pizza was really good, delivery was fast..bang on 30 mins
