The best restaurants in Ballymahon

20/04/2026: Pleasant little lunch spot. Food was good quality but limited range per small cafe. books and giftwares for sale.

10/04/2026: A lovely small coffee shop. The almond croissants are to die for and some lovely unusual gifts.

05/04/2026: No bad we got food here one night it's only 5 minutes from center parcs and its a lot cheaper and nicer then center parcs

25/02/2026: Ordered a takeout for delivery for the first time 22nd Feb 2026. Never used their business before. Sorry I did. Spent 53euro on 3 kids and myself. From time of order to actual delivery took 2 hrs and 10 mins. After the first hour , waited over an hour , phoned in to enquire as to time of delivery. The person who answered the phone said he left 5 /6 mins ago, said he prob had other rounds to make before he got to me. That's fine. Waited another half hour, called again to be told same thing. Waited again, called and asked him to call the driver, so he said ill call him now. So after 2 hrs and 10 mins, driver arrives and promptly said to me" oh ye must be starving"? Yeah after waiting over 2 hours!! Your business is 10 mins drive from here. Some proper smart ass. Food was very disappointing regretfully. Spice bag especially , more soggy chips than anything. Egg fried rice usually means egg comes in it. Overall this was a very disappointing waste of time and money from a business that expressed no empathy or customer satisfaction. Delivery driver however, with his "ye must be starving"? Comment, needs a lesson in common manners when delivering a service

06/12/2025: We absolutely love Jolly Boys- whether it’s sitting inside in winter or in the outback (outside dining) in the summer the food, drinks and service is 10/10. The atmosphere is laid back (great music and interiors) and the staff are so good with the kids; the place is so family friendly with a great menu for everyone, including delicious gluten free options (including GF pizza and chips) 👌🏻👌🏻 They do great beers including local IPAs and an excellent cocktail menu too! Look forward to the next visit already ❤️

26/03/2026: Had takeaway and it was very good lamb makhni wasn't expecting that taste in such small rate lol Staff is very friendly will go again definitely when I'll pass by

12/01/2026: Ballymahon needs a proper Indian restaurant/takeaway. Badly! This isn’t it. They served me a rotten meat burger and ignored my complaint about it.
