14/11/2023: Two friends and myself came to this establishment after sleeping off 9 hours of jet lag. We were hungry and needed a hot meal to fill our bellies. How fortunate we were to find the Macs Shack. Breakfast for dinner is always a treat but this was special. Our first official meal in Ireland. What an excellent start to the trip. The food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, all locally sourced, cooked on the spot. The owners were gracious, courteous, and welcoming. We talked a full 30 minutes after the meal, providing places and advice for our trip. Highly recommended.
