26/09/2024: I hate leaving a bad review because the staff were very nice....But it was a poor standard. Bathroom smells of mold..the shower curtain was ready to walk away..building works going on until after 9pm in a room 3 doors down. Started at 8am the following morning. Food in the bar very nice but couldn't recommend staying here overnight...

03/11/2024: Just went in for a breakfast. Couldn't find anywhere else at 9am on a Sunday to get a breakfast. Very surprised as normally assumed places like this gave a breakfast to feed sparrows. Tea, 2 slices of tiast, 2 jumbo sausages, lots of bacon, fried egg, sauted button mushrooms cherry tomatoes 2 thick hash browns . Huge pice of white and black pudding, beans and the pièce de résistance 'garlic cubes'. Definitely getting breakfast here again

07/11/2024: Absolutely love Macaris it’s always our go to. One complaint though is that lately the delivery time has gotten very bad. Generally it’s no longer than 45 mins but the last 3 times it’s been an hour and a half.
24/10/2024: Macaris is probably the thing we're going to miss the most when we move 😆 the best chipper in town, highly recommend the pizza, pasta, and chicken tenders. The people there are lovely and efficient and the prices are reasonable, the website is handy out too. Our go to place for a quick bite to eat

14/09/2024: The food is good depending on what you want. The floor staff are excellent, the owner is indifferent. The restaurant is COLD.
24/07/2024: I went to torc with my children for my birthday.me and 2 out of 3 of my children got their food we waited a good 20 minutes for them to bring her food out but they never did and when they finally brought it out it was the wrong thing and they went back into the kitchen we waited another 10 minutes and it never came so we got it to go we left and when we got into the car it was the wrong food again😒. And the chocolate bars are €16 which is outrages

29/09/2024: Went in on a Sunday afternoon, girl working there was a child (young teenager), with her friends sitting down the back, they were all giggling like school kids, including the girl working. She could barely talk while serving me as she was childishly laughing so much. Ordered a flat white, but it was muck. She hadn't a clue what she was doing and seemed like she didn't care
16/08/2024: I detest coffee served in paper cups. I expect it at McDonald's but not a proper sit down coffee shop that charges $3.50 for a coffee

Took care of us so well
We travelled from Clare for a 2 day fishing competition and she treated us like we were her own

Mindful for what we were doing

And she made it her business to make sure we were catered for.! (Not many places do!)

29/09/2024: Wow what a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere so clean and beautiful. The rooms were better than most hotels and the breakfast was superb . The host was also extremely nice . We just had a lovely stay and would be delighted to return . 100% recommend .
