05/11/2025: Lovely atmosphere, superb service and great food... That about sums it up! If you're anywhere near Knock or in that area, it's worth the 10-15 minute drive to Ballyhaunis. This was our second visit and we wouldn't think of eating or going anywhere else if we want a night out or a few hours just enjoying the atmosphere of Val's Bistro. Would definitely recommend.

04/10/2025: Ordered 2 Burgers chips and a snack box, supermacs ballyhaunis, arrived home and both Burgers were wrong, went back and they redid them, and still one burger was wrong, the grilled chicken breast was tiny, it was less then half the size of the burger bun, by the time we got back to the house the rest of the food had gotten cold. This is not the first time, often we have arrived home and the chips or food is cold or undercooked and had to go back with them! The service has not been great! Food is usually nice when it is made correctly, but sadly this is becoming a regular accurance

Service is fast and good, with polite and attentive staff. If you don't want to go through the checkout, you can opt for the express checkouts, which are a great option for those in a hurry and need convenience. However, the best thing about this Ballyhaunis store is that it closes a little later than in other towns. It closes at 9:00 p.m.

01/09/2025: Our first stop after landing in West Ireland and it was fantastic, amazing food and a lovely atmosphere with all the local chatting acorss the entire room.
07/08/2025: Lovely place, nice menu and friendly staff.
Nice for a chibatta or a full breakfast.

14/10/2025: We have tried the chips, pizza and kebabs from here now and all are very good. The chips are freshly made and very traditional. In fact all the food is made to order fresh and very delicious. I wouldnโt like to eat in the place itself but the takeaway selection is superb. I have been impressed by the food every time.
22/08/2025: Fabulous quarter pounders, lovely hand cut chips and curry. Friendly staff, happy to do business.
