10/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay with very friendly hosts and a beautiful homemade Irish breakfast. It is very close to Knock airport so made our journey very convenient. Would recommend if you are in the area.
18/02/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful few nights here looked after superbly by Anthony .
The Full Irish was the best we’ve ever tasted with homemade bread and local produce. Endless pots of tea , fresh fruits , yoghurts , cereals and juices.
The freshly baked scones were to die for !
Tea / coffee /biscuits always available in the gorgeous quirky sitting room.
Our second visit here ( last one pre covid ) and so sorry the restaurant is now closed but plenty of lovely places to eat in Charlestown only a few minutes walk from the Riverside.
We will definitely return as the location is perfect for visiting Knock Shrine and a few minutes from the airport .

17/08/2025: I was passing through as a tourist, and as a kebab fan, and since we had a room next door, I had to stop in. The kebab was decent, the chicken was very good, and the seasoning was excellent. I'd happily eat another one! I recommend it.
25/07/2025: Chips were absolutely amazing can’t wait to be passing through Charlestown again to get them. Chunky, freshly cooked and perfect 👌

Children and adults had a wonderful time and great experience.Thank you so much for making our guests and our little boy feel so happy and special on his Communion day.

01/09/2025: Undoubtedly the worse chinese ive ever had. And our whole group felt the same - Crispy shredded beef was so soggy and the sauce felt like it was just poured on from the bottle. The Singapore noodles were wrong and actually chow mein and in a horrible peppery paste. It was alarming that an order for 6 people to taky away took 8 minutes 😑

11/07/2025: I have been going to Susie since it was in Charlestown . I’d come in with my colleagues almost every Friday since it was literally a block away from our office. Their location in Charlestown has been replaced with a new café that does not compare to Susie‘s at all!
Susie’s bistro never disappoints 🙌🏼🙌🏼 from the dishes they serve to the friendly service I always leave knowing I’ll be back. Even with Suzie’s Bistro changing locations from Charlestown to the Tubbecurry Golf Course the food and service has never changed😊 Still, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The new location is spacious and most of the time their tables are reserved. Thankfully, last time I came on a Friday with one of my colleagues there was a two seat table available for us. The amount of food that I had lasted me all day. It was a perfect meal.
And of course, I will definitely be back in the future 🤤

26/06/2025: I ordered chips and salad. The salad was fresh and tasty but the portion is small. Chips portion is large. The restaurant accept cards and cash which is very good. The staff was polite. The price of the food is expensive.
21/04/2025: I was very disappointed in this restaurant, my Grandad asked for a breast of chicken and what was given to them I wouldn't feed to the dog, it was rock hard and shrivelled, the chips were burnt, the bill came up to nearly €70 for four dinners and tea, I will never be back.
