08/03/2025: Swore I would never go back but fell for it!!!! Had a chicken bhuna so much chilli it was totally inedible. Definitely will not be going back.

21/12/2024: We have been ordered their food for years. They alway deliver a excellent and tasty food but for the last two time their food made us sick, belly cramps and vomited badly. I will report them for sure Something didn't sound right perhaps it's not hygienist during preparation or the food ingredients are expired.

14/02/2025: Not good!! Duck for starters, sauce awful and duck in spring rolls tasteless.. Not usual Chinese taste. Black bean sauce on main course awful. What was wrong with this place tonight. A few weeks ago it was good. Egg fried rice was boiled not fried. Maybe it has a new chef or changed ownership whatever will hesitate to return. Valentine's will be busy in any restaurant but it's an opportunity to promote your business not demote it as happened today!!! Very disappointing..

26/01/2025: First time in this restaurant and will most definitely be the last time. Waited over an hour for one starter to share, that was so poor. Waited another 40 mins after that for two main courses. One of the dishes was horrific, tasted like instant noodles in a bowl of oily water. Menu said it was a chilli paste. Other dish, the beef was so chewy, it was like chewing leather. Chips came out and they were freezing. No apology at all. Had to keep on asking for basics like cutlery, napkins, water, absolute joke. There was takeaways going out every few mins and took two hours wait altogether for a sit in. Then get up to pay and we were standing waiting around there for ages at the till, 4 staff behind the bar and have to ask them can one of them just take payment that we've already waited 2 hours for food. Then I get asked did we not get food at all? Paid €60 for shocking meal. Terrible service and terrible food. Do not recommend to anyone.

15/11/2024: Very disappointed with this place, as i have reviewed before i love the Supermac,s brand but that stops right now, never again, my partner and i called into the Claremorris Supermac,s today and were served up absolute slop, 2x Cod and chips with drinks, the meal took about 20 minutes despite there only being one other person in the shop (now i know why) and he had been served before we got there, there was 4 behind the counter 2 ladies a young man and what i could see a Manager???? as he was going through the tills. The meals??? came out in a snax box with the burned fish thrown on top of chips, no plate, no tartar sc, no knife in shop we were told, ABSOLUTE JOKE. When the meals arrived they were plainly WELL overcooked, i tried the batter of the cod and it just fell apart, We brought this to the attention of the manager who just turned his head away while i stood in front of him, he never turned back, most ignor-nt clown i have ever come across, if he worked in my restaurant he would have been fired on the spot, one of the girls asked if we wanted something else but we had enough of UN,SUPERMAC,S and their poor excuse for a manager. It is the same in several of the Supermac,s shops, Going downhill rapid. WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN A MAC,C AGAIN. TYPICAL OF GOOGLE NOT TO POST MY REVIEW BUT WILL POST ON OTHER (REAL) REVIEW SITES Received a small email from John McDonnagh just to cover his butt, asked one question and got his answer and thats the last i heard from him or any of his lot. DISGUSTING, Excuse for a manager never mentioned. goes to show what this lot think of their customers and the rubbish they serve them.

15/02/2025: In the middle of Claremorris town in a busy street, 3 tables and opposite facing benches inside if you like to eat it in,nothing fancy just basic seating. Food is made to order and fresh,taste average,they are happy to cater your choices like I asked for a kebab tray with out bread and chips. Prices are reasonable.

16/01/2025: Staff absolutely would rather be somewhere else. Almost 11euro for 3 small sausage rolls and a drink. The sausage rolls were dry, hard and barely warm. Tables and floor-filthy.

19/12/2024: Excellent soup and brown bread, I got a free eclair also. Excellent customer service from Ann, Maura, and the other servers.

18/09/2024: One of my favourite pubs always a good atmosphere, and the pints are fab.

03/09/2024: Amazing pub long may it not change. Incredible signs and snugs and goes on for ever. Serves good Guinness at reasonable prices. Friendly staff too. If only all pubs were still like this
