23/02/2025: Amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel so welcome.
On top of that, the value for money was excellent. Top-quality ingredients, and great prices. I’ll be coming back for sure!
04/01/2025: New favourite pub, super cosy and plenty of seating. Such a gem with great service and friendly staff and customers.

12/10/2024: A gem of a cafe … friendly and professional staff. When I saw them down on their knees cleaning the table stands, I felt safe in the knowledge my rhubarb & strawberry tart was going to be good. (Oops! I had eaten half of it before taking the photo!) And It Was!! It was my first time in Knock for over 30 years, this cafe, and many of the other improvements are wonderful!
Well Done Everyone at Le Cheile!!
08/09/2024: The café is right next to the museum with a view of the basilica. We were there at lunchtime and were served very friendly.

04/09/2024: If I could give less than 1 out of 5 I would. I have no idea how this ”restaurant” is still in operation! We were practically ordered to our seats by a very fast talking lady. Had some very bitter coffee for which we were charged €3 each! Toilets were accessed via a door at the back which took me back outside! To say they were filthy was being kind! It was like a bush tucker trial! So many cobwebs, spiders, and the rest!!! Appeared to have never been cleaned. Also no locks on both doors. The bric a brac doesn’t really have a place in a restaurant! Very musty and dusty. Incredible that a place like this is running with the food hygiene standards restaurants are required to meet!
