25/08/2024: Hidden gem. The breakfasts are unreal, great flavours and choice- all dishes looked amazing. Staff are super friendly and setting is relaxing 10/10

21/08/2024: If you would like to see the garden of Eden on a plate ask for a BLT. Never seen anything like it , a plate full of lettuce. Very hard to eat this , the bacon (also Mediterranean) physically very hard to eat , so I didn't, avoid this BLT

15/07/2025: Under new ownership and it appears that the only thing they did was to put the prices up. We were heading into Dublin and decided to pop in for a pint or two, and then catch a later bus, as I had not had a chance to visit since the new ownership. I did not notice any changes since the new owners took over, bar Lockey is no longer behind the bar. We ordered two pints of Moretti lager and we were charged 15 Euro for them. My cousin nearly fell off his stool when he saw what I was being charged. At least we got the dearest pints out of the way quickly, as the bars on Thomas Street all charged us less. We even ended up paying less clubbing in The George after midnight. They charged us 7.20 a pint of Moretti. It's a bit mad that a pub in Ashbourne, that hasn't been renovated in such a long time, would be dearer than all the bars we visited on Thomas Street, as well as a city center night club.

09/01/2025: The food is great, the prices are good. Delivery time isn't the best, But by far the worst part of this business and reason for the one star is for the rudest person I've talked to on the planet earth, the girl answering the phone with a very slight eastern European accent (mostly Irish) Every time I order I get anxiety when she answers, sometimes hang up hoping for someone else to answer, I pray for her that's she's nice outside of work and she finds a job she enjoys one day. Owner if your reading this pay her extra to be nice because I'm sure she's losing you plenty of business.

16/06/2025: Decent food, only accepts cash and even scams you by saying the POS doesn't work. Avoid if you have other options.

05/05/2025: A hidden gem in Ashbourne!! It's pity I realised this after 5 years staying in Ashbourne:( Such an amazing Kebab for both vegetarians and non vegetarians!!) My entire family loved it, and I would be ordering this at least every other day. Highly recommended and very reasonable price 👌

08/07/2025: We usually order food from them chef very kind , I always request some spicy sauce, but the lady was like we don’t do it anymore. Was going to buy food only because of the special spicy sauce , will give up to buy from them , lady on counter need to be more friendly, good customer service needed. Food was ok, but the spicy was missing no point but from them . Loosing customers for sure wouldn’t recommend my friends there anymore.

03/05/2025: No longer as good as it once was! Teriyaki way too salty, chicken stir fry flat and tasteless! What a pity quality of takeaways in Ashbourne have really gone downhill!
