20/08/2025: Proper chips, and they always arrive hot and fresh. The southern fried chicken is so good really well seasoned crispy coating and the chicken is never dry. Fast delivery plus they do a €2 bottle of chipper vinegar :)
09/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic chipper. Normally open late. Food is always fresh and what a lovely bag of chips you get. Great staff which are very friendly.

21/08/2024: If you would like to see the garden of Eden on a plate ask for a BLT. Never seen anything like it , a plate full of lettuce. Very hard to eat this , the bacon (also Mediterranean) physically very hard to eat , so I didn't, avoid this BLT

05/07/2025: Just ordered a takeaway and the food was freezing cold, I paid nearly €20 so I rang them to be told that it can’t be possible for it to be cold, Then I got told that next time I want to order something I need to order for collection! It’s a delivery service so I ordered for delivery!
I order from best all the time but that will be my last!
Appalling attitude and service!
01/06/2025: Ordered deliver at 9:59 pm called at 11:06 to find my order had not been processed had not been prepared and was not on the way 2 people left very unhappy and hungry don’t recommend delivery service or them at all after this experience.

05/05/2025: A hidden gem in Ashbourne!! It's pity I realised this after 5 years staying in Ashbourne:( Such an amazing Kebab for both vegetarians and non vegetarians!!) My entire family loved it, and I would be ordering this at least every other day. Highly recommended and very reasonable price 👌

21/08/2025: Used to be a great local pub, but ruined under the new ownership. A lot of the previous friendly staff are now gone, lost the the friendly and warm feel it previously had. Still a nice local pub mid week but on the weekends a totally different place, on top of the raised prices, ridiculously loud tacky music like something you would expect in albufeira.

08/07/2025: We usually order food from them chef very kind , I always request some spicy sauce, but the lady was like we don’t do it anymore. Was going to buy food only because of the special spicy sauce , will give up to buy from them , lady on counter need to be more friendly, good customer service needed. Food was ok, but the spicy was missing no point but from them . Loosing customers for sure wouldn’t recommend my friends there anymore.
03/05/2025: No longer as good as it once was! Teriyaki way too salty, chicken stir fry flat and tasteless! What a pity quality of takeaways in Ashbourne have really gone downhill!

22/08/2025: This place went downhill. Used to be my favourite takeaway in Ashbourne but for the last year and half food feels different. Chicken is always very chewy, in the spice bags is 80% chips and 20% chicken, overall food isn't so great as used to be.
17/05/2025: Spice bag is not over seasoned and is not dry and it was good. the pizza was good aswell
