07/12/2025: After a good day of walking and sightseeing, we enjoyed this pleasant, cozy spot. Perfect for enjoying a nice glass of wine as an aperitif or a light dinner.

29/11/2025: Visited this cozy bar with my husband this evening. Great selection, the best that I have had in Dublin! All of the staff were excellent. I definitely will be returning soon.

19/12/2025: We've been several times for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is excellent, always full of regulars. They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own. The food is excellent and high-quality, and the staff and owner are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, but it's best to book to be sure of a seat.

18/01/2026: Good Middle Eastern fare with large portion sizes. Food arrived quickly and service was pleasant. Prices are reasonable for what’s on offer. We walked in to a relatively empty space that filled up rather quickly. The atmosphere is a bit cavernous but that doesn’t detract significantly. Depending on your location, this is more a locals place or a bit of a walk/bus from the Centre.

06/01/2026: We visited The Port House recently again, we had been before some time ago and were looking forward to some lovely Spanish tapas, but unfortunately, several dishes fell short of expectations. The Croquetas de Jamón were decent but a bit on the greasy side. The Gambas al Pil Pil lacked flavour entirely—no garlic, chili, or sear—and we couldn't finish them. We mentioned this to our waitress, who kindly offered a replacement, but we declined to avoid food waste, and the dish was removed from the bill without issue. The Chorizo al Vino was okay (I finished most of it as I was hungry), and the Patatas Rotas were average but acceptable. However, the Chicken Paella was mushy with an off flavor (kinda fishy), and we barely touched it (this wasn't adjusted on the bill). We had a couple of nice cocktails: Atlantic Twist and Clover Club. Our glasses of wine were fine, and our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. The front-of-house host, though, came across as quite unwelcoming upon arrival. Overall, a disappointing meal compared to what we'd hoped for based on previous visits.. Service from the waitress was a highlight.
