07/08/2024: I saw a social media post recommending Shouk and the photos convinced us to try it. What a great shout! We opted for the sharing mezze platter with pitas and falafel, as a simple, filling option. Our server was quick to confirm that would be plenty for 2 for a main meal, not trying to upsell us any more than we could have comfortably finished, which was appreciated.
Food arrived quickly & the server again went through the various parts explaining what each was then left us to eat.
Pitas were fluffy and pulled apart easily for stuffing with the plentiful mezze

17/10/2024: I invited friends to this restaurant because of the good reviews and managed to get a last-minute booking. Once we got there, the owner kept reminding us of the time we had to leave and pushed us to order food as quickly as possible. They didn’t mention beforehand that we had to order two tapas per person, which made me wonder if it’s even legal to require a minimum order. I couldn’t even remember the taste of the food due to the constant pressure. We ended up leaving with too much food left over, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad experience.
15/10/2024: I’m a regular and realized I’ve never left a review. I come here at least once a month. Tapas are great, super tasty. Wine selection is nice and so is the sangria. Staff are nice and the owners always welcoming. I recommend to everyone :)

11/09/2024: Food was OK, but service was terrible.
Staff were lazy, had a table booked & they couldn't even be bothered to direct me to it, had to find it on my own.
They forgot half of the dishes & then blamed it on the new guy, who, was the best server in the place.
Then charged €23 for service charge.
Ruined a nice evening with their incompetence. Won't be coming again.
11/09/2024: Food was excellent. Service very hit and miss. I appreciate it was busy however, I had 2 dishes I had received brought down a second time and another dish waiting ages which meant one of us had finished eating before the other got their last dish. Half an hour waiting for dessert. Table next to us had similar issues.

11/10/2024: Please, could you hire a head chef that knows how to cook a proper Spanish omelette that is not finished in the oven? Myself and many other Spaniards would go there weekly if you’d serve real tortilla. This was a disappointment when I ordered it the last time. Never again. Please do something. Spanish omelette is our culture🤦♂️🤌

05/11/2024: Great variety on the menu and tasty food! The panna cotta was a delicious choice for dessert & the risotto was quite nice as well! The calimari however wasn't amazing, it was rather ordinary. I'd recommend Casanova's to anyone looking to go out for a laid back meal with family!

01/09/2024: I had pasta with mushrooms on Tuesday and it was awful . Today I went to the festival with some friends and the pasta was good. We went in and I opted for the steak, it was tasty, but the portion was small.
19/08/2024: Lovely Italian in Monkstown with nice views of the village from the terrace. Prices are reasonable. The food and wine is delicious. And the service is professional. Would definitely recommend.

27/10/2024: Fui aquí para almorzar con amigos y como celíaco la elección de opciones sin gluten fue brillante. Todos terminamos eligiendo tapas sin gluten y fue genial poder unirnos y compartir con todos los demás. El servicio también era bueno. He estado aquí bastantes veces antes y ha sido genial cada vez. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

18/09/2024: Wow don’t know what so say!! The customer service was exceptional, and the food was simply amazing. I had the sweet and sour dish and chicken fried rice, both of which were delicious. Black bean sauce was my wife’s fav. My family and I also enjoyed a variety of starters, salt and pepper wings 🔥😍 This is one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I can assure you I’ll be coming back again. Thank you guys for a wonderful dining experience! Front guy was so nice he was very helpful
